Is House of Blues Underrated? Disney Springs Restaurant Review | Walt Disney World

House of Blues is a chain restaurant with an eclectic rock and roll theme. The Disney Springs location takes up a sizeable portion of prime real estate in the West Side section. Its prominent water tower is a signature feature of the Disney Springs skyline and its concert venue often boosts of hosting many notable musicians throughout the year. The menu focuses on creole cuisine and southern comfort food.
This was one of the few Walt Disney World restaurants that continuously alluded us. Despite many friends of ours praising the experience, its location at the tail end of Disney Springs drew us to other restaurants that are more centrally located.
Honestly, we found the interior of the restaurant to be stunning. The combination of live music with colorful art and rock & roll inspired decor made the table service dining experience feel alive and even kinetic.
With such an engaging ambiance we wanted to see how the cuisine complements the fun atmosphere. In this video, we detail their signature dishes, the decor, atmosphere, history and see if House of Blues deserves to be considered one of Disney Springs BEST restaurants.

Back in '97, I paid a visit to the House of Blues and was blown away with its gorgeous folk art and interesting cuisine. I'm glad to see that it has stayed eclectic with its theming and its food. Thanks for bringing back such great memories of the place!

Oh wow this looks soooo good. We used to have HOB in DTD in Disneyland back in the day. We did their brunch in...oh 2005 lol. Such a fun place. There are so many places to go in Disney Springs. I cannot wait for the best Brunch/breakfast video. That one will be a hard one to choose. 🥰

You’re right, it’s so tucked away that we never think of it as an option. Will make a point to visit now. I’ve heard their happy hour deals are pretty good too. And would be interested in hearing about their brunch as well. How nice of them to give you the 3 desserts to try!

Hubby and I ate here a couple of years back and the food and service were awesome - especially the chicken and waffles. Also if you enjoy the live entertainment, leave them a little something, they have totally earned it.

We've walked by it for years!! I will say there's higher quality food in Springs but the combination of the service, entertainment, and general ambiance really created a great experience, plus we're dessert people and those desserts were killer.

It's so far out of the way, but if you park at surface parking it's very close to it or the Orange garage near Everglazed isn't too far. We hope you like it!

Little late, but I could not get this dinner off my mind. I have not heard of House of Blues before, but this was SENSATIONAL! Every dish that came out was even more mouth-watering than the last. I await every video drop of yours, Sam & Jay, but this is going to be one of the more memorable ones. And as rude as this may be, if I had seen you two dining out, I would have crashed your dinner table and pulled up a chair right in time for dessert (“times three”) 🍮. That was an “OMG”-put-my-hand-over-my-heart moment. …(And Sam, Hat + Hair = 😘 beautiful)

We love that cornbread. FYI, you can buy the mix in the gift shop. We always bring a few back every time we’re there. Like clockwork, TSA flags it every time thinking that we’re trying to smuggle drugs, haha.

@ Yeah, they’ve gotten our Gideons as well, haha. Also the giant Mickey-shaped Rice Krispie treat that the Main Street Confectionary used to sell. We keep any brought back food in a separate tote now so we’re not having any of our regular carry-ons ransacked. Greetings from NY, btw! We hope you enjoy Japan. We’re planning on heading there within the next couple of years. My wife just has to muster up enough courage for that long of a flight.

the last time we ate at HOB, the food was good, not great, but the combo of the food and the entertainment was great. suggestion when you go to jaleo: get one of the experiences. during dreams that soar, the dreams that soar tasting experience won me over. i used to think jaleo was fine, not great. now, i think it's fantastic.

Hey guys. We just got back last night from a 6 day stay at Disney. We had great weather the whole week. We did Wine Bar George, Morimoto Asia, Raglin Road, STK and Enzos Hideaway for dinners. Raglin Road was such a great night. That place is awesome. Great time for sure. All great but Enzos Hideaway was really not good. We have gone there several times in the past but was severely slacking this time. Service was great, food and wine was not. The EPCOT Festival was great too. As to the House of Blues we have one up in North Myrtle Beach South Carolina about 30 miles north of us. It is just another typical chain restaurant experience. We do not go there. Not good at all. Glad you guys had a great time in the one there at Disney Springs. Great review as always.

Glad you had nice weather, just a few weeks ago it was SO cold. Raglan is so fun, we have to get back there. We haven't done Enzo's Hideway but we've done Maria & Enzo's years ago.
