It’s actually not scary at all, I road it for the first time on Friday and it was amazing. And if you’ve ridden hangtime before, the xcelerator is way less gutrenching then that !! (I love hangtime lol)

To be fair, it’s more of a family friendly park, so maybe that was the intention. But I totally agree. I think knots is a great park to break people into roller coaster, before they step up to really crazy thrill rides.

We used to go to Knott's Berry Farm a lot up until when they were in the middle of building sierra sidewinder and just before they closed perilous plunge. I went on all the roller coaster until then and I think also all of the rides ( maybe not all of the rides in camp snoopy and maybe not all of the rides that were changing throughout time ). The POVs from the rides that i went on remind me of my experiences that I had on them. THANKS.

As someone who has visited the park today, Silver Bullet is a great ride with intense G-forces at the end helix and also a LOT of inversions and a must-ride! Hangtime is also amazing with the complete view of LA and also great inversions but its very rough because only a lap bar is holding you… Xcelerator is a MUST RIDE! Its such an experience not even videos can explain it… just the sheer speed of the coaster reaching 132 km/h in A SECOND! Also the 1st hill is super good and has an amazing view… Ghost rider is also amazing, with amazing hills and such, but make sure to visit it as EARLY as possible, otherwise a LOOOOONG line will await you… Great park with lots of thrilling rides and also GREAT VIDEO!!

I just went for the first time today and I hate roller coasters cause of the gut dropping feeling but I started with ghost rider and loved it then we went on silver bullet and it was so fun. My friends did hang time and xcelterator but I checked out cause of the crazy drops on those but I had a great time overall

In SoCal you basically have 3 levels of thrills parks. You got the beginner level (essentially no thrills) - Disneyland and California Adventure (with the caveat of incredicoaster), Universal Studios, and Lego Land Then there's the transitional level (equal amount of thrill and family) - Knott's Berry Farm and Sea World San Diego And then there's Six Flags Magic Mountain which has the majority of thrill coasters in the state. Honorable mention to Califonia's great america in NorCal which is somewhere between Knotts and Six flags in terms of thrill (mostly because of RailBlazer) I've yet to travel to Florida but it's definitely on my bucket list. Kinda curious how those rides will compare to Cali's.

Protip: if you're scared of drops don't close your eyes on the first one at ghost rider. Looking at this video I feel like closing my eyes made it feel way steeper than it was LOL I was in front though.

after going on ghost rider, I was pretty pressured to go on hangtime so I did, the only part I truly hated was ascending up for the drop, other than that it was a very smooth ride (I even sat in front when I did), and trust me if you can do hang time, you can def do silver bullet, I used to be terrified of that ride until I went on, it’s super smooth and not as scary as it looks, idk about xcelerator tho, the most intense one by far.

Honestly the only thing that's scary is the first drop the rest of the ride is smooth. The first drop looks scary but it really isn't even that steep.
