Wow, I would have noped away from that Rise line for sure - it was super eye-opening to see how fast it actually moved!

Sure, moved pretty fast, but this is also a great example for why rope-dropping Rise is not a great idea even if it happens to be operating at park opening. Between walking there, getting through the queue, enjoying a long ride experience and walking to your next attraction, you've spent almost the entire first hour on *one* ride. You're so much better off doing some combination of Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Indy and Big Thunder, in terms of the *total* queue time you'll save.

@@scottrenshaw5792 You're absolutely right. It's not going to change my plan A rope drop strategy, it's just interesting from a queue dynamics perspective!

Love the videos David! My wife and I love rope-dropping Rise of the Resistance and it's worth noting that the path through Frontierland going past Big Thunder is significantly faster. Not to mention you're forming the line, not fighting to get to the end of it. We're going on November 19th, super stoked for Tiana's and just to feel the Disneyland atmosphere again. Fresh Baked!
