If this were in the U.S it would get all the hype. It would probably be considered the best GCI or even one of the best Woodies out there. What I'm trying to say is that this is extremely underrated.
@mammon3108 жыл бұрын
+CoasterGlitch I don't get it either, the Chinese are known for building good tracks, they built a bunch of them in the USA for a reason, also because they were practically slaves.
@mammon3108 жыл бұрын

I love how so many chinese coasters have ridiculously long, descriptive names and this one is just called "Wood Coaster."
@bobsquires45217 жыл бұрын
I bet it is tongue-in-cheek. "Let's create arguably the worlds finest roller coaster, name it a very mundane name, 'wood coaster' and see how ridiculous all the criticism will be and how they missed the pun. It's like calling the first Superman movie, Guy. lol And, not to mention, it might lose something in the translation. I don't know Chinese (the language-with its intricate characters.)
@TylerPCoyne6 жыл бұрын
There are actually some cases when a GCI is given two names for one coaster, this is one of them. So it’s not just called Wood Coaster, it’s also called Mountain Flyer, which is still a somewhat short name for a pretty long and intense wooden coaster
@zejunruan32915 жыл бұрын
TylerPCoyne Yeah...Chinese wooden are just have long weird names like”Python in Bamboo forest”

Probably because it's hidden in the mountains in China. Can you imagine how popular it would be if it was in the US?! I would love to ride this, GCI needs to build a clone or something similar in the US!

@themeparkreview12 жыл бұрын
I've added it to the description, but the ride is not called Mountain Flyer, it's called just "Wood Coaster" - there was also a sign that called it "Wood Coasters" but most of the signage in the park was simply "Wood Coaster."

Shoot, it would be top 3 woodies in the u.s. in the golden tickets i bet. This looks insane. But theres a lack of awareness in the stages for chinese coasters. It's hard to find videos about them or povs. Its just not readily available like the european and japanese coasters are. But given that china has more coasters than any other country I would love to be able to see them more easily. Too bad I'll probably never get a ride on them.

Thanks. Wow!. Amazing use of terrain on this ride. What were the environmental costs for? Curious about that.
@TrololzillaOG9 жыл бұрын
Dennis Siple No clue. It could very well have to do with the fact that it is a terrain coaster, and basically tore through the forest as it did. Perhaps it's in a protected area, or the wood needed to come from a certain place.

So this is the best woodie in the world right? No way in hell it isnt right? That looks so amazing. The way it uses the terrain is unreal. My goodness I wish I could afford a trip to china. Asia is so underrated when it comes to golden ticket awards and even awareness in the states. I'll admit, outside of japan I have no clue what coasters are in Asia and apparently theres more in asia than any continent by far. One problem, it's hard to find pov videos and rankings of their rides. But my goodness, this GCI looks like it should win all the accolades. Holy shit.
