Sounds like a wonderful idea! My great-aunts gave my great-grandmother with Dementia a doll. She'd always loved babies & and children, so it was perfect for her. She carried it everywhere & even tried to feed it. Although I hear that silicone dolls are delicate & must be handled with extreme care, so I also wonder if they're appropriate. My great-grandmother wasn't always gentle with her doll as her mind didn't always recognize it as a baby.

I love working on reborn dolls! They are so cute. When you get a kit to work on you never know how they are going to turn out. I have made a couple and it is a joy to see them come together. The vinyl ones are the cheapest to get but the full silicone ones are like the Mercedes Benz of the doll world.

@@justaperson4656 I purchase mine online from Etsy, I get blank kits so I can paint and customize them to my hearts content. You will have to buy eyes and paint separately most of the time. For paint I have genesis heat sets but I prefer waterborne air dry paint for my vinyl kits.

If you are wondering more these are reborn dolls some are silicone those are the ones that are squishy they are more money though . You can get vinyl to they are not squishy but are still great and are cheaper. Please if you buy one be carful as body parts can fall of and please don’t put your reborn in water or get it wet it will ruin your doll. They wear real baby clothes but make sure to check the size of your doll . Anyways hope this information helps
