I remembered my dad with this. He was fat and was shy to go to a nail salon or even have his nails serviced at home. I had to learn how to do this stuff for him so I did. From then, I'd been cleaning his nails from time to time that it became our bonding and catching up moment. Now he's gone. I miss doing his nails. I miss how he'd act I hurt his foot just to play with me. Ughhh. Miss you, pops.

Thank you for this tutorial. Recently received my pedicure kit and I have all the tools. Unfortunately I am left-handed and find the nipper toenail clippers nearly impossible to use myself. It's an awkwardness combo of being upside down and backwards as I tried to reach my toes. 😄 The diamond file works really well especially when I soak and use the cuticle remover. I'll probably get a traditional toenail clipper style, stainless steel so I can keep it sanitized in the 99% alcohol jar. Watching your videos is saving me so much money in pedicures, and it's really relaxing to do it at home and maintain the health of my feet. No more excessive build up. No nail technician has given such practical empowering advice. I ask nail technicians how to keep my feet healthy in between appointments and they simply are in a hurry or give minimal advice if any. Thank you for helping people escape the crazy world of people using cheese graters for foot smoothing.

What I find intriguing about your video post is the skill and patience you use. It is really the foundation. We, as spectators love the climax, when you pull out all the gunk and toe jam that has built up in the nail wall. Oh, we just go ham watching you do that!! Woohoo!!! It is the favorite part. We, however, are also learning what it took to get there: Patience and Skill. If, we don't have patience...wow, imagine the horror! Try Curve Correct. I had horribly ingrown toenails that got infected all the time. My nails grew so deep into my skin. It was extremely painful. It wasnt from skin build up in my case. My nails grew deep into the sides of my nail bed. It was hell to dig them out. I tried everything and was thinking of having surgery. I decided to try the expensive curve correct in a moment of desperation. Yes. It is kind of pricey, but it cured my ingrown toenails permanently. It has been over three years now with no ingrown nails. It was definitely worth it.

I just found your channel and am blown away by what I have learned already. I have a difficult time with self-care of my nails. Flexibility and overweight have contributed, but I see now that I do not have the right equipment either. I have had my borders trimmed from my great toenails and have had the root killed which didn't work so now I have a shard that grows independently of the rest of my toenail. I need to look into purchasing some of your tools to see if I can do a better job caring for my nails. Thank you!

I really love the sidewall cleaner. We aren't given these in our pedicure kits for school but they really should include them it would make a world of difference. I also really want a pair of the nippers they seen to work so much better than the regular toenail clippers.
