@@thekeefer690 When I said OK. I was referring to your statement : the lyrics hit you like a hammer af..NOTICE, IMHO..DO I have to explain what IMHO ?? I love how they play metaphorically with the title of the song and the true meaning of it, basically the human himself is like a vampire stripped of his immortality, who refuses to accept the harsh reality of things, we are only here for a short period of time and most of the time we waste it giving importance to our own existential crises instead of enjoying it to the fullest together with the beings who really love us, before it is too late and they leave or we leave before that they, forever. The lyrics are simply beautiful and cleverly brutal.
@wildweavergaming94042 жыл бұрын
That's some pretty deep insight there. Might not have come to that conclusion myself if I didn't see it here. Good job.
@BendingGrid Жыл бұрын
I would say the song meditates on the fleeting nature of human interactions, the moments of connection amidst isolation, and the existential journey from birth to death. The narrative emphasizes both the transitory moments of beauty and connection and the overarching solitude and impermanence of existence.
@davidgeerling98713 ай бұрын
Glad u r a thinker about might, or will not happen happen we all die...Since U R a thinker, I humbly suggest, AT LEAST PONDER Christ your savior...The COOL THING IS, if you accept him as your savior, all ya have to do is refrain from sin and ETERNAL HAPINESS is yours !! NOTHING is better than eternal happiness...If I'm wrong, you have nothing to worry about...If I'm right, IMHO, you WILL NEVER be accepted into eternal happiness....Brother, I've ponderd my life HONESTLY FAR MORE than most people have ever pondred their life..I was born and raised as a catholic and Christ has correctly steered me away from their INCORRECT TEACHINGS, incuding the apochrapha...Yes God alIows a HELL OF A LOT Bad things to happen and could go on and on ! ...How about this one passage in the Bible and I LOVE IT...Evil ( JERKS) will be cut down like the weeds....Normally I don't throw out Bible passages... OK...God DOES NOT tolerate jerks cuz HE IS LOVE and is giving jerks their JUSTIFIED DAMNATION....They have their ENTIRE LIFE to change their ways...Just saying !! God bless :):)

Legendary song. Legendary band. My ex introduced me to the Midnight in 2016 and it was the best thing to come out of that relationship. Seven years later I met Tyler and the band after their concert in Oslo, took pictures with them and got my Nocturnal vinyl signed. Not just an amazing band but such wonderful people too. I will never forget that night in Oslo and I can't wait to see the Midnight again! ❤️
