One of the best songs from a legendary band. I always love this performance because of how the group is trying to follow Rod in the second half with the sudden start and stops lol. Especially Kenney Jones on drums. Love when he and the rest of the band just come roaring back to life @ 5:25

My friend took a night off from the Sphere in Vegas last night, 8/2/24, and saw Rod at Caesars Colosseum - where he is doing a residency. Looked at the setlist and was surprised to see that he performed this ditty. I saw the Faces many times in the early 70s heyday. Loved this clip (I’m sure the string combo was there as a laugh for the band) - but you can’t call it “classic Faces” without Ronnie Lane there, he being a heart and soul of the Faces. (Not to mention, the other lead singer!) Just saw Ronnie Wood in Philly 6/11/24, with his other band… Props to Ron and Rod. for their impressively long careers!

WTF was that godawful string section doing there?Oterwise, great song, great performances, Faces at the ideal time -polished, slick but with enough of the original rough an' ready edge to be genuine and real. At this period - mid'70s -Rod was THE greatest performer in the rock world, bar none!

I understand it was Rod's idea for the strings. He and Ron paid for it, Mac wouldn't have anything to do with funding it saying "we're a rock 'n' roll band.
