It's hard to believe that a stocky man like Bud Spencer (real name: Carlo Pedersoli) was on the Italian Olympic swimming team in the 1950s. But he was an all-round talent anyway (athlete, actor, inventor, composer, entrepreneur). Simply an all-rounder.

It was the 2nd or 3rd Spencer-Hill movie I had seen and I was surprised that it wasn't a western, but as a racing enthusiast I was appreciative of the more modern setting. Amazingly, I haven't found anyone among my friends and family who knows these guys or has seen one of their films. Fun movies, somewhat in the vein of a few of the Jackie Chan movies.
