@@TheMilitaryTok it's fine I can see why you might have forgotten about it and I chalk it up to being a lower tier French tank and from what I've seen online not a lot of people like the French tech tree and I've never seen anyone using it besides me, and it was added in an update that wasn't really that big other than adding the F-16AJ, the Tornado F.3, USS Nevada, AH6M little bird and the squadron Hunter F.58 and that's all I can really remember from Sky Guardians While writing this I got into a game and I now know the fear I bring to while approaching the A point taking hit like it's nothing Great video nonetheless

@@xXxCAN1B1SN0SC0PExXx for the longest time the independent was the longest vehicle in the game and it still shows up as the oldest vehicle on many decisions I've seen dated as far back as a year ago and the Char is still some what new and it was added in an update that didn't really add anything (in my opinion)and was in between the update that added the F-16, Mig 29, and the Tornado Gr.1 and the update that added the F-14B, the Bluewater fleet for France and retarded bombs so that's probably why he said it was oldest because from what I can tell not a lot people really took note of the Char being added due to like i said being part of a "smaller" update and being overshadowed by cooler stuff

It's completely normal for tanks with at least 4 manned crew to have asymmetrical turret, because the left side is usually where the gunner and tc sits at, so the left turret cheek usually protrudes more compared to the right side. If both sides of the turret cheeks are symmetrical it could add weight and wear to the turret ring. Examples is the Leopard 2 series, although you need to look through the top view very hard to spot it. The Tiger 1 and 2 has its main gun slightly offset to the right. Panther's case is almost impossible to spot. The Panzer 4 has its whole turret offset to the right. Take a look at the Mi-24 through the front view. The M60 Patton's left turret side armour (Front View) is less sloped than the right side. Merkava 4 left composite turret armour (Still front view) is ever so slightly more sloped than the right side. Challenger 1 is also an example, although I'm not sure why. Challenger 2 and 3 are the only mbts I knew that has fully symmetrical turret cheek armour (Externally)

If it makes you feel better, the gun is off center and the fuel tanks around the driver are uneven The torsion bars are also uneven inside the tank, so one road wheel is the leading one and always touches a bump if going perfectly straight first

@@williewilson2250 the gun is not off centered btw. Take a look at the Abrams through top view. That illusion is most likely due to the gun breech. Starting the Leopard 2A5 onwards also has a asymetrical gun breech.

That Mi-24 saw service primarily in Afghanistan. That's why the fan is installed. Same reason why the tropical BF-109s have little shades installed.

It's a fan, there's a switch on the left side of the cockpit to turn it on IRL. The rotor speed is shown by the rotor tachometer, a separate gauge.

Idea for useless and cool facts: the FV-4005 Besh ammo has 21kg of TNT, and a 50kg bomb has 25kg TNT, that means that the FV-4005 literally throws at 700 m/s a 50kg bomb at the enemies, it is a bomb launcher!

That fan in Mi-24 is called DV-3, has rubber soft blades, you can find it on many soviet vehicles, transport aircraft and helicopters. The motor is 28VDC driven and has brushes which you replace every 500hrs of operation;at least on aircraft I had it on.

Yes, the Char2 is the oldest and again was made by the French but it never touched soil. It was impractical during the war. Losing something that big is a waste of resources and a huge morale crusher. Just regular 4 crew tanks were better since they also weren't as affected by weight and speed than the Char.

The fan inside the Hind is due to it being used in Afghanistan and it would tend to get hot in the cockpit. It was purely cosmetic for warthunder though. Just a show of accuracy id assume.

Well, the weapon on the Sturmtiger is named "raketenwerfer" (rocket launcher) so it's not a gun, but a rocker launcher. But it still doesn't matter, as the UK has 3 ships with 381mm cannons
