I had the pleasure of seeing Mandolin Orange, now called Watchhouse, at Pappy and Harriet’s a few weeks ago. Great show. I sure hope to see The Milk Carton Kids someday. Really enjoy both groups.

I love the different, more driving rhythm used in this version. Still one of my favorite songs to sing when I jam. Everyone loves it.

Guys your harmony on verse two brought me to tears.. thank you

I agree with Emily. We can't change someone's mind by telling them they're wrong, but sometimes we can plant seeds by asking them lots of questions about what they think and why and then poking holes in thier theories in the form of more questions. Easier said than done, especially with the urgency we feel knowing how much is at stake. Thanks for phone banking, Emily, and thank you all for doing Andrew's beautiful song.

I heard Mandolin Orange for the first time in a SoCal skate shop and had to look them up. Just heard the Milk Carton Kids for the first time here. I play guitar, a little mando and harmonica (my best instrument) at the not-quite-pro level. This music pulls at me, has gravity like a sun. So beautiful. Thanks, George -- Moreno Valley, California

First youtube suggested Mandolin Orange (just a month or two ago!) and Wildfire is one of my favorites. Then, the Milk Carton Kids came up suggested a couple weeks later. I've been really enjoying music by both of your bands, so how fun for this video to show up for me this morning. Thank you all for sharing your talent 🎶💝

The song Wildfire is what actually caused my wife and I to move to Warren County, NC. We wanted to come be a subtle but positive agent for positive change. We felt we could, in being ourselves, help people understand that we all need to be treated with respect at that we need to move forward and just be kind to one another.

To say that was something quite special is not even getting close to being adequate. I've tried to type more, and deleted, and tried again. Deleted. Again. Lets just say I'm left 'emotional'.

Sorry...but someone has to use some profanity....Gosh! That was awesome. Really nice work on pairing the plucking patterns on the guitar with the style and feel of the original piece. Everyone gave space for one another.... Dang! I liked that alot!

Damn, at 9:00 she lost me, prime reason musicians Shouldn't talk Tolly Picks!!! Unless they actually pay attention, and speak, when it could ACTUALLY do some good! Where were you through 2018, 2019, when Bernie could have been the Candidate??????? Could have changed the world!!!!!! Clueless, Sad!
@glynnpowell92594 жыл бұрын
They are paying attention and they are speaking! The world will change for the better by getting rid of Trump...this time the only way to make that happen is via Biden/Harris. I’m a Bernie guy too, but the world will get better when the Orange one is gone!
@alaayuwuh30124 жыл бұрын
@@glynnpowell9259 Sorry, Your being Naive... Simply getting rid of Trump will not make the world better. Just make you feel better, Especially if you replace him with the same old Neoliberal Cabinet that was responsible for the Possibility of Trump in the 1st place... Trump isnt "The Problem", he is a "Symptom" of Biden, Obama, the Clinton's, and the corrupt elitist Dem Establishment's decades of policies that throw the working poor under the bus! And now Amy Coney Barrett has been confirmed, so the Supreme Court Argument is out the Window! Were Fuct until we get in the streets! Now I'm not arguing in favor of Trump, I'm urging everyone to vote their Conscience whatever that may be, point is let's not mislead people into thinking Biden will in any way save us! Biden just weeks ago: "I will NOT Ban Fracking" To Wallstreet; "If I'm elected NOTHING will fundamentally change" "I beat the Socialists" And of course he chose Kamala Harris for running mate! Nothing in a any form of an olive branch to the Left, nearly half of the Dem Electorate... They continue to use the same old Fear Tactics to force you to vote for them instead of offering anything of Substance! Nothing but Flowery Platitudes that do nothing for the Millions of Hurting Americans!
