I bought a brand new 2023 MINI Cooper S Convertible in nanuq white metallic, and it’s a blast to drive! Before owning my MINI I had a 2008 Mazda MX-5 Grand Touring PRHT in black, which I also bought brand new. To me cars are much more than mere transportation, I drive for fun, but at the same I don’t care about racing for competition.

Love the S convertible 👌 was going to go for Zesty Yellow however once I viewed the Seaside special 30 year edition in that gorgeous Caribbean Aqua never looked back 😎

Disclaimer: I'm still getting one. I completely understand the rollover protection in a convertible I always have, rolling over in a car with no greenhouse is extra spooky 😅 and I was recently at the dealership and a mechanic said that a rollover bar system ejected in the garage by itself they watched it on camera lol that's scary because if you're leaning on it and it ejects you're definitely going to die 😅😅 ahem* on the bright side nothing beats that open top feeling in a Mini and that color owns you whole city you live in!! You can't live in fear you just got to do the best you can and be safe as you can. Btw: currently driving a BRGreen 4 door S with black trim everything, black center stripes, chesterfield seats ❤

I would only change the roof button to an automatic one instead of holding the button…. You can open the windows and roof with your key fob and even close it from outside with your key fob!

Nothing wrong with disliking the convertible. It’s not for everyone. I personally love the roadster more than any other MINI convertible if I had to pick one.

I wonder if these newer slightly more squared off mirror covers (outside mirrors) would fit on the mirrors of my 2015 coopers S. I bought the car second hand end of 2023 and I’m a little fed up with sh-load of round round round parts on this car. I’d love to have rectangular „F1“ style mirrors …. Or door cards that don’t have the swooping shape in them or a middle armrest that is not looking like a kidney….

@@TheMINIac Thanks! I love this video and I love this car! I have a great Jeep that I don't want to get rid of, but this would be fun to lease for 3 years. I live in Los Angeles, so our weather is quite favorable to convertibles. I think I'm going through a mid-life crisis. LOL. Thanks for the great insight into this cute car!

It is a cooper S without hud and tweeter speakers which means it sounds awful as is. mine is 2024 chili red plain cooper. remove the heated front seats and dedicated drive mod toggle switch you achieve my car. for a cooper S i believe it should offer more.

I honestly don’t use my stereo enough to justify HK. The head up display is redundant at times with the digital dash.

Do surely do missed spare wheel Tire Even my countryman don’t have Tire jack anything at all I do have spare scissors jack it not from mini OEM Out of my old 21 Rouge I think it should work fine with countryman I tested still lift the car up in air hold around 1,250 kg 2,755 lbs I basically stolen spare wheel and floor mat when I sold 21 Rouge for scrap vehicles title transfer to Salvage company

@stefanoversace8318 in the US market there is. This is a 2024 model convertible. In the European market it’s a 2023 convertible. I don’t make the rules. I think it’s weird as well. But it is what it is.

@@TheMINIac ihr verkauft es als Modell 2024!Aber in Wirklichkeit ist es das Modell aus dem Jahr 2023! Mini gehört zur BMW und dort wurde das Modell 2024 öffentlich präsentiert und das sieht schon von hinten und innen ganz anders aus! Und wir fahren seit 20 Jahren Minis,vor allem die JCW !
