What's most disturbing is that the scene, especially the monster (a wendigo?), is so much more realistically rendered than usual. Combine that with the fact that there's nothing *between* the monster and the viewer, and all the eerie hints all around, and this is more pure horror than anything you've shown us.

No, That’s not a monster in the window. It’s checking up on the cat. It’s friends with cat. The dark in the corner behind the icebox is what worries the cat. It scares me, too.

i really love this set design (unsure what else to call it) it really conveys that vulnerable helpless feeling you get during a nightmare. No barriers between you and the thing you’re scared of, yet it’s always just a bit too far away to touch you. I also love the more realistic, gritty style on this one. Such a treat visually. And of course the sound design is incredible, as usual! I fell asleep to this last night. Love all the sounds, and imagining what they could be.

I remember having a dream as a kid that I was downstairs in my family kitchen in the middle of the night - but because I was dreaming, it seemed eerie and just a little bit…wrong. This one really reminds me of the feeling I got from that dream.

So creepy. Love the writing and the fridge magnets moving to show different messages. Being so close with the window open makes it so genuinely scary not to mention the hand reaching for the poster that really creeps me out. Amazing work, love this one so much the movement of the cat is so real looking too.

There’s a Chills video from years ago where a small creature comes across the screen in the video and Chills says “if I saw that thing in my living room, I’d stomp on it till it was a small brown stain” and as soon as I saw the freaking creature in the first 15 seconds I thought of that.
