The timeline is set up so nicely for future games! If I were to take an educated guess , I’d say they did it on purpose so that by the time Joe will allow them the rights to her main storylines and names , they’ll be just getting to the times we all know and are familiar with and with the actual characters. I’d imagine Joe didn’t want to just allow a game to use all her stories and characters and spells as she would most likely want the game to prove itself. So hopefully that’s the case and why quidditch has been “cancelled for the season”. I think the had it phrased that way on purpose. I’d imagine since the broom physics and controls need to be very unique , that they’d rather wait to release quidditch into the game until they really know it’s done right and well.

I like how hogwarts it a small mix of the film and books as well as being it's own entity. We have rooms like DADA which looks very much like the film version, than others like the common rooms and grand staircase which have been completley redone to be unique.

Loving your play through so far. You should be equipping the best gear you get regardless of appearance. You can change the appearance on all gear to whatever you want. Just tap square in hte main gear menu to set the appearance. It has no cost. Hats can also be hidden and robe hoods can be up or down. Every time you pick up a piece of gear you instantly unlock the appearance for that gear so sell everything you're not wearing. No need to hold on to anything just because you like the look.

Info on Peeves' song about swimming in the toilets. About 20ish years before the game takes place, the caretaker of Hogwarts at the time tried to trap Peeves in a bell jar in an attempt to free the school from the poltergeist. He baited a trap with a variety of weapons, including swords, guns, and even a cannon. The bait worked, but the trap failed, and now the poltergeist had weapons where he laid siege to the school for multiple days. Eupraxia Mole, headmistress of Hogwarts at the time, made a contract with Peeves to end his reign of terror. In return, Peeves would be allowed to swim in the boy's bathroom on the first floor once a week, he would get first pick of stale bread from the kitchens for throwing purposes, and he'd get one tailor made hat.

I don't know if you've figured out the number puzzles yet, but there's a cheat sheat near the arithmancy class (you'll get in the vicinity of it during the gobstones quest), but it's also on the door itself. The outside symbols represent digits, starting at 0 (demiguise) all the way to 9 (hydra monster thingy). the ? die has only even numbers on it, and the ?? die has odd numbers, and the way to solve it is that the 3 numbers have to add up to whatever is inside the circle. Basic stuff, really, but quite enjoyable, and not overbloated (since you get to do a lot of these, it's good that it's short and sweet).

Having played this several times whenever I watch someone play for the first time I have this desire to whisper in their ear things like, click on the black flags, the gear upgrades your power and you can change the appearance without changing gear, or sell everything you aren’t actually wearing, the game remembers what you found so you can still pick how you want to look. Just little thing that the game doesn’t make very apparent. I know she’ll figure it out eventually but I remember being way into the game before I figured out certain aspects.

This game is on second place of all games I've played in my 41 year life. First place is red dead 2 Also a tip. Wait before claiming rewards. You only get those once and they are adapted to your level. They will be mich more powerful later on. Or you can just buy them all again and enchant it later.

Helpful Tips, so when you are in the main gear screen, when you hover over the item you are currently wearing it says square for change appearance. so you can wear your hat for the bonuses but have it not show up at all or as a different hat style. And as soon as you acquire gear, the appearance immediately goes in the list. And since you have done the wizarding world stuff, if you linked your wb games account with your wizarding world account you can alreay use the robe and mask =)

@@darthfinality 1. Fast travel to the Divination Classroom Floo Flame, which is within the Library Annex. 2. Turn around and head back through the door behind you and along the wooden walkway. 3. When you reach a junction, take the right turning and go along until you see a small landing with a chalkboard next to a puzzle door. 4. Look to the right of the chalkboard and you'll see a blue loot box. Open it. This is where you will find the decipher page that tells which numbers go to each symbol.

Note that when you cast Revelio, there is a secondary sound if one of the revelio scrolls is nearby (the ones you have to be standing right next to in order to reveal them) and the length of time between the cast and the "ping" tells you how far away the scroll is, and the 3D sound will tell you the direction. You have Scroll Sonar! Oh, and you start getting talent points at level 5, but it doesn't tell you about them until later. I had 10 or so talent points when I finally got the quest that told me to use them.

I love how they’re branching out with more diverse characters and accents, still struggle to understand how nobody I heard doesn’t have a northern English accent or a Scottish accent. Majority of British characters I heard have a seemingly standard RP

I was watching a Wizard who was happily slamming through everything. That’s fine. But I wanted to see everything like your doing and from a witches perspective. Nice job, I’m hooked on your telling of the tale. I’ve learned a lot and some day I’m going to have to invest in PlayStation to try this myself. Thanks.

When I looked up about Ollivanders. Knew that Gerbold Ollivander was related to the Ollivander we know in the Harry Potter. But I just found out Gerbold is the grandfather of Garrick Ollivander we see in Harry Potter. The developers did an amazing job in putting easter eggs and making everything just perfect in detail. Just so amazing this game

It's cool how well they made Natsai and Sebastian involved with the outcome of the troll attack either way. Natsai would have an excuse to go after Harlow because of the interaction and if you don't pick her she still says she saw you in hogsmead. Same with Sebastian. But I prefer Sebastian because, he becomes your bro instantly (same can be said for Natty of course) but you learn early about him having a sister and the fact that you'll share information about ancient magic etc which you do automatically at some point, it seems to fit so much more well into the story with Sebastian instead of Natsai because of the stuff you end up perusing with Sebastian.

@@quentindiaz9418 I went with Natsai, because that felt more natural to me. She comes from a different background and I can relate to it so much, liked her more as a character as well. In the beginning he seemed very stuck up to me, but now 15h into my playthrough I see that my judgement was wrong. Its just preference at the end of the day.

I’ve played through this game 3 times (all but Hufflepuff) and have not once heard a dinging sound near collectibles or felt vibration, except in combat. That would certainly make the game easier. I play on Xbox series X but I wouldn’t think that would make a difference. I’m also in my late 60’s so it could just be my hearing. I found your channel on the Indy play through and I also loved that game. I can’t wait for you to discover this world!

In the puzzle, I struggled at first too 😂😫 The secret is.. each picture corresponds to a specific number. Starting from the left of the arch is goes 0-9. The question marks are the specific picture that represents the number missing to add up to the number in the middle. Happy hunting 😁🫶🏼 P.S. loving the Hogwarts content ☺️🤓
