This year was my graduation from highschool, and i had to get into medical school. Only 200 students from 40000 get in. It was almost impossible. To me, success is not a matter of how much money you make or what kind of status you uphold. Success to me, starts with a mentality. If you want to be successful, you need to have a positive way of thinking. Now the idea of success comes from within. You determine your own success and your "why" in life. If you are not happy with the life you have, then change it. Set goals and accomplish them. Challenge yourself and find your true potential. That is what success means to me. Finding out what I am truly capable of and accomplishing all my goals with my time on this earth is more important to me then feeling I am accomplished with the opiate of money over happiness. Everyone has potential to change the world. Its because we are created by an amazing God. Yet we let all these lies creep into our minds, and just believe this is as good as it gets. I used to listen to this when I was in the throes of addiction. Trying to find motivation to get out of it, but I couldn’t on my own.
