Thank you for not deleting your videos. In the last year a lot of Harry Potter fan work has been removed and for valid reasons. As someone who found a home and forever friends through the fandom, it breaks me. The tattoo's I choose to cover my sh scars were different things taken out of the HP books. Sometimes when I look at them now I feel worse then I did before :/ This whole thing has been hard, and as a member of the LGBTQ+ it's personally devastating. But you've helped give a lot of closure. I've watched you guys for a long time. I'm 23 now and I suppose there's a lot of chapters closing, but you've helped me not self hate so much with not wanting to close my HP one. I would just like to let you guys know that I was one of the kids that found you guys when I was 10 or 11. I'm 15 now, and I remember watching a Q & A live stream on the shitty wifi in my childhood home, and absolutely spamming the comment section to ask you guys questions. I went to a catholic school in a small, very religious historical town in Ontario, Canada, and I honestly learned about gayness through your channel and google. You guys and your channel were honestly the catalyst for my entire gay awakening and coming out journey. I now identify as non-binary, and I have always looked very feminine, so it's often a struggle to just get through one day without being misgendered, but seeing Robyn, and how he seems to live his life with the dance like nobody's watching thing going on, is honestly incredible, and it gives me real hope for myself and my transgender experience. I have since moved from that small town, and now have friends that actually accept me, so that's nice. But today I was just bored and thought of your channel again, so I figured I'd check if you guys were still on the hiatus. It never hurts to try, right? Instead I found this video from a year ago that I actually hadn't watched, so now I have the information, and it's really nice to have closure to be honest. I don't know if you guys still look at these comments, or if you care at all. But you all made an impact on my life, and I am glad that you stopped this channel so that your quality of life can improve and so that you can get your friendships back. Thank you :)

I’ll miss your stories, but I also understand that life moves on, and when you also have a problem within that thing that you’re already struggling to find time/inspiration to do, it can be best to just step back. You supplied us with plenty of content (which I hope? You’ll leave up?) that we can rewatch and still enjoy. Also, thank you for the fact that you’re going to do the “what would have happened” explanation. So many shows are cancelled and we don’t get an explanation as to where it would’ve gone and it’s frustrating - and with this basically being a “cancelled show”, I’m glad to get to know what else you guys had planned. No matter what, I’m glad to have come across you guys because it’s made me discover things, it’s given me new ships, and it’s also just been a source to make me smile. I have been subscribed to your channel since basically the beginning so I was like 10 or 11 when I started watching you guys, the age when I started obsessing with Harry Potter. As a kid, I didn't realize that I was queer and I was able to see representation of being LGBTQ+ through your videos and it really did help me try and figure out who I was. Now that I'm 18, I can't say I've completely figured out who I am yet, but, I'm proud to say that I'm nonbinary and abrosexual, and I just wanted to say thank you for helping me in the beginning and I guess being my first queer teachers? I would say? But yeah idk since it's been a year since you guys last posted, I just really really wanted to show my gratitude and sadly I have no other outlet to do so, other than through my small way in a KZbin comment. Christoffer (with whom I was so so privileged enough to see their transition in real time when I was younger, on their, I think now deleted channel, and it genuinely helped me so much), playing Teddy and showing how Ted could possibly be genderfluid and how his metamorphagus powers played a part in that and seeing Robin confident in wearing feminine clothing, it just gave me so much happiness and joy to see that when most of everything in my life is so so so different than this idealistic fantasy I have, that's basically this wonderful world you've shown me❤❤❤ I can't say thank you enough. I will obviously miss this channel since it was a gigantic staple of my adolescence, but I completely understand why you'd need to step back from it, and I hope your future projects and plans go your way and I wish you all the success in your lives. I began watching y'all in 2017, and continue to think about this channel a lot. While I - as a trans person - have distanced myself from Harry Potter, your videos still remain some of the most comforting, with very fond memories attached. It’s funny, I was just last night thinking about casting moon shadows. Thank you for all the great work you’ve done over the years. Engaging with HP fan works during my teens was the major thing that helped me understand myself as a queer person today. I’m very proud of you all for continuing during that time when a lot of people were struggling with how to distance themselves from HP. It provided a good transition for me. I've missed you a lot, and rewatched your content quite often during and even before your hiatus. But, life happens sometimes, and as adult persons with adult responsibilities it's understandably difficult to find time to create new content, and due to the pandemic and its restrictions it's even harder to keep meeting up. Then there's She-Who-Should-Not-Be-Tweeting, and it's so fluffed up that her actions have ruined this wonderful magical world for so many people. I still read and enjoy fanfiction and other fan made content, but try to separate her and her work, and support her as little as possible. Tbh I haven't read the books or watched the movies in years, even before her transphobic tweets, because the lack of representation in the books and movies. Jk Rowlings tweets made me so unsure about myself. I am trans. And young. I don’t pass. I am not able to be on testosterone yet. And you guys helped me so much. S.Q.U.A.D. especially. I have been in split in my opinion. I didn’t want to leave the Harry Potter fandom, I wanted to stand up and make people understand. Had exactly the same struggle. I tried to keep the love for the queer HP fics that I have loved even after I sold my HP themed merch 2nd hand (for trans charities) I wanted to keep the good memories separate from the author - after all I read old books from authors who you know weren't great people, but in the end because her views and her cultural impact is just everywhere i got to a point where I just had to take the books off the shelf. I replaced them with my cadfael collection that I have loved even longer and has never had cause to make me unhappy the way JKR has. I loved squad and the marauders and think your work was fabulous but yeah I totally get it and have stepped away too. Lovely to see you both though am glad you are doing well xxx

I want to thank you guys for being part of what made this fandom magical in the first place and I hope that you are all doing well, thank you so much for everything. I've been following this channel for a very long time and you have genuinely helped me trough some really dark times. She who must not be named wrecked not only a great story but also the community that was built on it which breaks my heart every day because now others will not be able to find the comfort and hope here that I found. What she did was a very personal betrayal to many of us and I also have yet to figure out the best way to cope. I am still thankful for all the good memories though and I hope we can eventually heal from all this. During tuff times I would watch your guys videos and I would laugh and cry as you guys put a lot of effort in your videos and feeling which made it real. I want to say that I am so happy that you guys are having all this new life proyects, of course it is sad for me to know there would be no more videos because I really love them all, but I can perfectly understain. I am one of those persons that grow up with this channel; I was 13 and in middle school the first time i saw your videos, and now I am 17 and starting university, time has passed and our focus in life changes. I am so glad that i founded you when I did, I am so incredibly thankfull for your work, because you show me that it was possible to be me. I found myself thanks to you, and it was in your videos that I found the acceptance to grow my own self aceptance. Never, before hearing your stories, would i had belived that what i was felling could be real. So i just want to thank you and I am very exited about the revelations of squad and profesor potter, cause i really loved those story lines specially squad, since, for me it was the first nonbinary representation that i got, and it came at such an important time. I have grown up with this channel and knowing that there won't really be any more videos is sad and makes me want to cry, i've grown up with your videos, they made me happy and smile and laugh when i was sad and upset. This channel was my entire childhood. Im sad to see you go and to say goodbye. I will more than likely rewatch your video's thousands of times more. But, of course, your lives come first, what you want to do and if it's not this then so be it. You carry on with your lives, what you want to do with it. This is so sad... But I knew you wouldn't want to roleplay forever. And I was seeing this coming since you weren't uploading. Thank you for taking the time to explain the reasons why you won't be continuing the channel. I wish you'd record just the two of you, the professor Potter series. But I understand and respect your decision and I just want what's best for you. I'm glad you 4 still get along, I was worried that it wouldn't be the case and that it was the reason why there were no videos. I don't know if you will read this comment but I also grew up with you, I started watching these series during the Casting Moonshadows filming, when I was around 12 or 13. I'm 19 now. This is one if not my favourite channel of all time. I will forever hold it in my heart. I came upon this video today because I was feeling unwell and so visited your old videos. I just wanted to thank you all for everything you have made. Your videos and your channel has come to mean a lot to me. I used your videos and content a lot as a way of grounding myself, almost, through major milestones in my life. I started watching just as I was starting my GCSEs and carried on all the way through to moving out and going to university. I know it sounds a bit silly, but you guys honestly helped me a lot with that transition. When I was feeling low and finding it hard to reach out to my family and friends, your videos gave me this sense of normalcy that maybe everything wasn't quite as different as my brain was making it out to be. I hope you know just how much I appreciate all the time and effort your have put into making and uploading your art. You really are so special to me and I am glad that you are able to do what makes you happy at the moment. Please don't feel guilty about stepping back. You have brought so much joy to so many people. I’ve only found your channel during the pandemic when I got into my Harry Potter phase, and I was blown away with the work you guys created. I’m so glad everything is going good in your lives! I stand behind your reasoning for stepping back. She-who-must-not-be-named is so toxic for any returning fans or new fans. Doing the best to your abilities to stop supporting her is going to do wonders, but it also makes me sad to see y’all go. I was so happy when I found y’all to see that others liked the same ships as I did and who created videos about them. Unfortunately, the well-being of all of you is more important then trying to film and posting on time. I did grew up on hp in a way (more my sisters than me) but I wasn't that much of a fan, but fan made things like what you did brought me really into the fandom itself. The way you made the characters made me love them so much. I'm sad that you won't continue your videos but I totally understand why and as long as you are happy, I'm satisfied. Thank you for taking the time to make a video to explain everything!
