think wisely kid, most of my friends ( who were like you) quit in the first semester... Do your research wisely, it is not about drawing and watching videos online...

I AM an architect and have NEVER had to draw people or sketch like this. Would highly recommend you really think about whether or not you want to be an architect. Its not as glamorous as most people think.

Great videos, nice and simple. I'm a follower from Instagram, and I love the additions of the videos. One comment I have is that the light on your page was a bit strong in the video. It washes out some of the lines you are drawing. Maybe next video, you can lower the light levels by a tiny little bit, OR, not point the light directly at the paper, but reflect off of another white surface.

Hi! I absolutely enjoy your videos, they're really helpful. Question: do you think these sketches (trees and humans etc.) are appropriate for a final critique project, say of for my elevation and section drawings?

I'm really, REALLY looking forward to be an architect. I love design. But, one problem, I'm not such an expert at art, in other words... I suck at art. Can I still be an architect?
@Themodmin9 жыл бұрын
+John García Yes you still can, It is not too imperative to be good at drawing. It is a great bonus however, as you would be better able to communicate ideas through it. The great architect Le Corbusier was not that great at drawing, but he had great ideas and that still made him successful! Good luck John, hope this helps!
@elsagrace38937 жыл бұрын
John García you can learn with some good instruction maybe from KZbin and lots of practice. Everyday practice.
