Moliminous Here's my MLP idea episodes They should make another background ponies episode like In slice of life, but this time it takes place at Canterlot, like moon dancer and her friends try to get tickets for a concert, but every pony in Canterlot are on the rush to get to the concert, upper crust, jet set, Fancypants and Fleur dis Lee in this episode as well I wish they make an episode where Ember and her dragons and Thorax and his Reformed Changlings are invited to a Galloping Gala at Canterlot, but the ponies of Canterlot starting to be prejudice towards the dragons and changlings, Princess Twilight and her friends try to convince the Canterlot ponies that their not evil they're friendly, would that be a good idea for an episode? they should make an episode where Trixe, Starlight, ember, thorax, spike and the mane 6 perform a magic show in Canterlot, or Las Pegasus, but Trixe is having a hard time to be ready for the big night of her show, so starlight, ember, thorax, spike and the mane 6 tries to help her, would that be a great idea for an episode They should make an episode where Trxie's family come to ponyville to see her best friend Starlight and the mane 6, would that be a good episode? I wish they make an episode of Fleur Dis Lee seeking the help from rarity They should make a episode where spike and mane 7 go to Fillydelphia and visit Fillydelphia's Dragon Town, like Manehattan, Fillydelphia is a mostly modernized citu with cement roads and skyscrapers. Even though they tied EQG to Equestria in canon as canon. They really need to do Sunset a solid and give her more episodes ... possibly let her keep her alicorn status past Friendship Games. Them giving her alicorn status for only an instant, but giving SciTwi it with her doing nothing to earn it was a bad call. Hopefully we get some Sunset in G5.

I think Sunburst is Sunset's Family. and both of them we're destined to work with Celestia but sunburst flunked out and sunset let her talent go to her head betraying celestia and abandoning equestria for another world. but there is a problem her name is Starlight Glimmer, Starlight used to be super closed to Sunburst, so if sunburst and sunset are sibling then starlight would at least know anything about sunset but when twilight called sunset to equestria they dont know each other not anything but according to celestia sunset began her studies not long before twilight so I think sunset is a little bit older than Twilight likely starlight and sunburst and that means sunset must've left when she was a filly for celestia's school before starlight even form her first memory so as sunburst. Well this all is just my opinion ♥

I must say that Sunset's arc as a villian that was evil and then turned good was done right and her reason for turning evil is well executed and explained more thoroughly with the movies and EQG than Starlight's. Sunset turned evil because of neglection from her parents and mistrust from Princess Celestia (as her student) made it even worse for her. Combined the fact that Twilight became Princess Celestia's favorite student and was more trusted, it made Sunset felt betrayed and neglected--just like her parents did--and her life completely shattered to the breaking point of no return. She grew angry, bitter, and jealous of Twilight's success and entitlement as Princess Celestia's student so she then realized that there is no redemption for her: which is why Sunset stole Twilight's crown as a sign of revenge towards her (and in a false perspective) for stealing the life she should've had. And why she hated Twilight so much becuase of those things. So when she is defeated in the end, Twilight didn't rid of Sunset but instead forgave her. By doing so, Sunset realized that Twilight wasn't just forgiving her but also giving her something she never had before: love, trust, redemption, and friendship. That's was what Sunset never had before from her parents nor Celestia. So in the end, Sunset reforms herself by being good and being friends with Twilight and the others. That's a great story arc for Sunset and why her redemption was justifiable in the end. Whereas Starlight became evil becuase Sunburst got his cutie mark and she didn't, left her, and she was mad about that. So then she becomes evil and rids of ponies their talent from the cutie marks they had. Pretty lame excuse. Don't get me wrong I love Starlight Glimmer as a character but her as a villian and her excuse to become evil is petty and stupid. I love Sunset Shimmer and why she's my favorite from EQG.

This explains everything that's up with sunset because of her parents being cold, distance, and want nothing to do with her cause sunset to become hateful towards others of the abandonment of her parents. This reflects to real life a lot cause there are a lot of kids out there who have terrible parents that cause their kids to be spiteful and towarding that anger to others in which creates a bully just like when we saw her in the first movie. So basically most of the stuff sunset did in the 1st movie wasn't her fault it was her parents for giving up on her and made her feel like she was nothing and that strengthens more when the only person/pony actually being a mother to you gave up on you. I think Sunset Shimmer did have a family and they loved her very much but as a foal, Sunset's parents had very busy jobs and couldn't give her their time. Sunset just took it on the negative way. In order to entertain herself, she started studying and made a dream to become very powerful and make her parents feel bad. Later in life, they quit their jobs to spend time with Sunset but it was too late and Sunset just didn't care about them anymore and only had concern for her studies. She didn't come for the holidays either and lived somewhere else. Her parents were very worried and her mom tried to talk to her about it one night but Sunset just cut her off and said she was getting late for class. She kept on avoiding them and maybe at one point in her life she said she doesn't love them and left forever making her parents heartbroken. Maybe in the future she will reunite with them and apologize and they would say they had been awful parents and she would tell them how she felt about them not giving her their time and whatever. She might even show them her friends and tell them about the portal. This could be a great episode.

I actually think Sunset’s parents neglect and her relationship with Celestia are the main reason why Sunset went bad. After being neglected by her parents, when Celestia took her under her wing, Sunset latched onto her as a parental figure. She wanted to please Celestia and make her proud and be like her. This is why she was so into her studies. But she was going too fast, and was trying to learn stuff she wasn’t ready for. So when Celestia refused to teach her, Sunset was hurt since she was trying to prove herself worthy in Celestia’s eyes. Maybe she even began to think that Celestia didn’t think she was worthy anymore and that was why she refused to teach her the magic she wanted to learn. Her hurt turned to anger, and her reason for wanting to gain power began to change from a desire to please to greed and to obtaining power for the sake of power.

You know after reading the Holiday comic I really feel like Sunset gets put through a lot and every time it seems like she can be secure in her friendships something comes along and tries to ruin it. I mean in the comic the day after she states her friends are like her family the doctored pictures go out and her relationship is ruined and suddenly she is targeted by everyone in the school. Then in Forgotten Friendship, her friends' memories are erased, and turn on her again, even in Rainbow Rocks people distrusted and excluded her and were ready to turn on her at the slightest hint. I think out of the former villains she had it the hardest, Luna was easily forgiven, Discord did not care, Trixie kind of just put it aside, and Starlight was guilty about her actions but forgiven by everyone and even trusted, while Sunset worked for who knows how long to build the trust she had and it always seemed fragile.

It's sad that we never got a conclusion for Sunset. It could've played out like this: in the EQG world, Sunset debates with her friends whether she should stay or go back to Equestria. Twilight, Starlight, and Spike convince her to go back because it's her true home and to see her family because "you shouldn't run away from her problems". Suddenly, both Equestria and the EQG world start to deteriorate because the mirror has been used so often it's damaging the fabric of time and space. Twilight warns that this is their last chance to use the mirror. They tearfully bid the Humane 6 farewell and go the portal before the mirror destroys itself, permanently sealing the path between 2 worlds. The special ends with Sunset going to Sire's Hollow and reconciling with Sunburst, her mother, and her father (if he's still alive) finally canonizing the theory that Sunset and Sunburst are related.

I personally doubt they would've actually had Sunset leave the human world for good and cut off all contact with her human friends if they had gotten Equestria Girls a proper finale. I doubt they'd spend several movies, specials, and shorts focusing on the girls' friendship if Sunset did get permanent separation. Heck, Forgotten Friendship even has Sunset get her memories of the human world back immediately after they're removed so that does imply to me that they wouldn't go for her cutting contact with the human world. Especially when we have pony Twilight still being in contact with the rest of the Mane 6 even when moving to Canterlot as princess. Plus, the deleted Friendship Games subplot of Sunset being homesick for Equestria addresses the question of Sunset staying in the human world or Equestria with Sunset choosing the human world by the end in those deleted scenes. I think even one of the writers mentioned Sunset's true home is the human world, so I'm positive she'd spend the rest of her days there (maybe becomes a teacher at Canterlot High) with occasional visits to Equestria and using the journals to message Twilight and Celestia.

Fairly certain the latter interaction is what made me feel like a useless sack of shit. But hey, parents are supposed to love ya right? I went up to my mom, very shyly (I had been working up my courage for nearly a year), when I was 13 and said, "I think I'm suffering from depression." She turned to me and said, "What do you have to be depressed about?!" The anger in her voice was immeasurable. I clammed up, ran away crying and have never came out about anything since, to either of my parents to this day. As we found out 7 years later I have A.D.D. and one of the major things about it is (drum roll) depression. And when we went to my doctor, whom hardly ever pays me any mind, with these findings he said something to the effect of, "So you need a prescription for something for the depression." Now that doctor is a bit pervy, looking down the front of my shirt for a back problem, but if he can see I'm depressed and I only see him every once in a blue moon. I do think that if I had went to my dad instead of my mom he would've been a little better about it.

That's horrible; I hope you can move out if you haven't yet. When I moved out, I was prescribed Zoloft for my depression, and since I moved out and stopped taking it, I haven't ever felt like I needed it again, though you should definitely _talk to your therapist first_ before stopping a depression medication cold turkey, even if you're certain you can remove the cause of your depression. Like Lim said, though, just because someone has blood ties to you doesn't automatically make you family. Furthermore, there is so much misinformation about depression out there that if someone isn't suffering it can be hard for them to understand. Just know that it *will* get better if you want it to and are willing to put in some effort. I still live with my dad and brother. However, my mom did leave in 2015 and I've been less stressed with out her around. I still feel nervous about coming to my dad about certain things (my gender and sexuality for example) but I feel like those are normal things to feel weird about not something as bad as depression. The last of which I am going to be dealing in the new year (the depression). The reasons I don't take the pills anymore are the cost and the fact that I basically turned into a zombie when on them. I had no emotion. I was 20 when I was diagnosed and had gotten used to myself without them. So to me the me on the pills was not the real me. Though everyone else argues with me to take the pills when I mention that I have a vivid memory of something that contradicts what they think happened. Basically, they push my buttons then tell me to calm down and that I should be medicated for disagreeing with them. It got bad last time, I contemplated if being a zombie was better than being right (which I was but no one ever believes me so FML). This was a couple of "friends" who knew what I had been through with my mom and still decided to treat me like a moron. And this is why I hate humans. Why I stayed home with my cat instead of going to family Christmas. Because no one understands and they just love to press all my buttons. And I have poor speaking skills.

I think Sunburst is Sunset's Family. and both of them we're destined to work with Celestia but sunburst flunked out and sunset let her talent go to her head betraying celestia and abandoning equestria for another world. but there is a problem her name is Starlight Glimmer, Starlight used to be super closed to Sunburst, so if sunburst and sunset are sibling then starlight would at least know anything about sunset but when twilight called sunset to equestria they dont know each other not anything but according to celestia sunset began her studies not long before twilight so I think sunset is a little bit older than Twilight likely starlight and sunburst and that means sunset must've left when she was a filly for celestia's school before starlight even form her first memory so as sunburst. Well this all is just my opinion ♥

Even if Hasbro does bring them back, I doubt Emily Blunt, Taye Diggs and the rest of the Hollywood cast would voice them-they're pretty expensive actors, and I don't see Hasbro hiring them just for a couple of episodes. Those characters (if they appear in the series) would probably be voiced by regular voice actors, and it wouldn't be the same. Do you want that to happen?

The reason is at Legends of Everfree when sci-twi and shimmy was outside of gloriosa's vine wall,sunset tried to ENCOURAGE Twilight to embrace the power in her to save her friends,but Twilight was scared to do so because she's afraid Midnight Sparkle might take over,but after Sunset gave her the COURAGE to embrace her powers she *ponies-up* . I know in that movie the human mane 6 ponied-up because of their own powers that has been embraced and when they were together to save the campers and i know that doesn't have anything to do with their element. But Twi and Suns moment were in private,they were both alone,well with spike but... So it is possible that only Shimmy ponies-up because of her element,witch in my opinion is encouragement. And plus,she ENCOURAGED sci-twi twice (Well that was a tounge twister) When sci twi first became mid spark and Shim ENCOURAGED her to stop because she knows theres a better way,and at the legends of everfree. Scootalos parents are even here and supportive. Applejacks parents may not be here, but their heart tree and Granny Smith. Twilights parents and celestia are supportive. Rarity has loads of friends, Sweetie Belle, and stress sewing to lean on. Pinkie Pie is a complete extrovert and she’s happy if somebody’s happy. Rainbow Dash has EXTREMELY supportive parents. Sweetie Belle has the CMC and her older sister. Apple Bloom has the CMC , Apple Jack, Big Mac, And Granny Smith. Sunset? Sunset only has friends. No family.
