Unlike every other video of a signature instrument drop that focus on the artist, Mono focused on the folks that got him there.

Despite all of his “eccentricities” and quirks, this video shows that Mononeon is extremely “normal.” He’s grounded, a family man. He’s not pretentious or overbearing. He’s a gentle spirit.

Few things I need to mention: 1. Fender, the production on this is incredible. Love how you captured him as an artist and not just on the guitar. Well freaking done. 2. Fender, this bass looks sick. Great job on that. Nice change up to see 3. That drummer is ice cold. Killing back there.

I was literally looking for the right 5-string to get for HOURS yesterday, i was torn between a 5-string jazz bass or multi-scale triple-pickup bass like a dingwall, I think THIS just made the choice for me, I'll take it as a sign even, thank you for the years of music MonoNeon, I've made my choice update: I got it, it's my new favorite bass ♥

34" on the B string just sounds bad. No other way around it, specially on a traditional design like this. You're better off with a Lakland.

It's easier for some folks to grasp. Hey I mean Jacob Collier started out on the jazz double bass and eventually designed a guitar with 5 strings tuned in straight 5ths, guitar/bass guitar can be weird to approach even for the most solid musicians

I love this profile. It really seems to get to the heart of who this cat is. Where he comes from. It’s amazing to see the love and support and musical foundation he grew up with and how it directly led him to who he is today. You can also see clearly -and his dad mentions it- how like many of the great funkateers, he’s simultaneously introverted and shy while also being audacious.
