@@JDCN11 honestly, sure! But it’s definitely best to watch the whole thing. There are certainly some episodes and couples I fast forward through hahaha! But it helps to watch as things unfold, how people lie or extend the truth, or how people are manipulative/manipulated. It’s fascinating lol

I know yall have made a bit out of it - but it’s truly insane that Jackie isn’t on TikTok and she chooses the stories. That’s similar to a marketing campaign manager refusing to use social media, or a finance analyst refusing to use Excel. This is your job. It’s holding back the podcast. The amount of explaining Claudia has to do is frustrating.

I think it might just be an American thing - in Canada you get 1 free large bin taken every other week (you can buy extra "bag tags" for $1per bag, but my family of 4 has never needed that) and recycling is taken every other week, but there is no limit to the amount you put out.

It varies from town to town. My town in CT you have to pay for private companies to come pick up your trash or bring it yourself to the transfer station in town for $100 a year. The bigger “city” near us has free trash pick up through the town, the residents just have to pay for the specific trash bags

My town doesn’t offer trash pickup and we have to pay a private company each month. The town over (where I used to live) had it built into taxes.

Re: nobody making any new original content that’s actually good: I think everyone’s obsession with older movies and TV shows is as much a nostalgia for what life was like 15, 20 years ago as how much better those works of film/TV were. Our culture is broken and art is suffocated by woke cancer and no one is digging us out!! Except of course for the violent original work at the Toast.

They always do revamps/sequels/etc to ensure an audience and therefore get investors. it's really hard to get things financed in hollywood unless they know for sure it'll have success/viewership so that's why they always go back to expanding on existing audiences/successful movies and shows.

I have never been to the Hamptons because I avoid anywhere NY or surrounding area for many years. I used to go as a kid (lot older than you) but I want to remember NYC back in a far less crime ridden time. NY is a cess pool (imho). No way would I even go one minute without my weapon.
