They literally worked together and had bee together for filming which i am sure took some months so they have gotten to know each other also acting is a personal thing when you have scenes so i don't think he is trying to impress her given they have been working closely he just seems so high energy

Loved the movie but man.. this dude thinks of himself like a rockstar and thinks he's more famous than he really is. The girl's can't even finish a sentence without him interrupting her. The beauty of the film is the dycotomy of rebellion and innocence from Raphina. If it wouldn't be for her nobody would care about "kosmo" and his cheesy band.
