I did a similar speedrun challenge back in the prehistoric days where I reached 1,000 Subs, but this was before the Hunting Grounds existed. The hunting grounds brings along huge advantages to this challenge, along with some disadvantages.
In total at the time of this video, there are 64 behemoths that can spawn regularly in the Hunting Grounds (being non those found in island events). Those are:

The joke about bad RNG is 100% true, me and my brother spent 4h+ getting the timeweaver set for the x4 cataclysm, galactic shards and stonehearts just to realise I upgraded my skill tree and didn't have enough rams😐

I would say that is user error not RNG. RNG and the decisions you make are not the same.

I got some quest where I had to farm parts from Flame Charrogs - the quest description was very specific. I killed more than 50 of them and nothing. Then the first sporestruck charrog I killed dropped that part. And I finished killing spore charrogs. There's more than just rng at play here. Sent a note to the dev team via support and, predictably, got no response.

I don’t know if it’s possible without a new account, but it would be cool to replicate this challenge with “level appropriate gear” and the same level as the behemoths so one does not oneshot lesser behemoths. Or at the very least do it for the highest level and type of each behemoth species

Malkarion weapon ability allows you to teleport to any behemoth if it's within 100 metres

migth be a bit late haha! but to get it you need to reach atleast a 40+ level on HARD Shock escalations. so you can fight him. it took me 2 and a half hours due to stupidly fucking good rng to get the chainblades malkarion weapon but it took my friend 20 hours due to bad rng. so dont get discouraged. :)
