Rest in peace to my All Time Favorite gospel artist. I have been a huge fan of his music since I was 8 years old. His music Always brought me closer to God through every hard time I have ever gone through. Me and my family were able to see him in concert over a dozen times growing up. The world just lost an international treasure, but Heaven just gained an outstanding soldier in God's Army. Rest In Peace Carman. Thank you for bringing me closer to my Lord and Savior.

Saw him on my 15th birthday. I'm knocking on 43 and never forgot the power of his music. His big song then was The Champion. That's how he ended the concert. Albany, GA. 1992

I got to see Carmen when he was first starting out and nobody knew him. He came to Hammer Skate in Stockton, and they just set up stairs and a stage for him there. We were posting flyers up since he was unknown. When he came, he just blew us away with his music and comedy!

Carmen did a sweet 16 birthday party for the 16th year of legalization of abortion. He had Dr from biggest New York abortion clinic who used sonogram for first time over a weekend as babies were being aborted and it opened his eyes. Became an opponent of the evil practice and testified before us. Carmen was totally instrumental in changing my life forever.
