In case you were wondering about the Lyrics this is the opening track of their 2015 Album Drones. The whole Album has a story in the Lyrics about a solider brainwashed and forced to go to war before freeing himself nearer the end of the album. I strongly recommend you listen the whole album, its a masterpiece and also check out some of muses older stuff too.

Muse are great. So much great music. This song borrows heavily from Depeche Mode’s Personal Jesus, which is almost all electronic but very similar in beat and bass. Depeche Mode is a band you’re circling around without realising lol. Rammstein; Nine Inch Nails. All influenced by Depeche Mode. If you want to hear bass, try Useless, bass by the great Doug Wimbish. But they’ve 40 years of songs to choose from. Once you get away from their early 80s tinkly synthpop, they really evolved quickly. Stripped, Home, Barrel Of A Gun, Clean, Precious, Cover Me, Enjoy The Silence, Shake The Disease, to name just a few worth checking :-)
