They were..!! the later part was the westfield shopping part of the scheme from 07 - 12..!

Stratford in the 80s and 90s was not developed at all very much a quiet part of East End Stratford was like a village and where Westfields is now prior to it that was all waste land where kids used to play and play on their bikes , now apartments selling and renting for ridiculous money times have changed for the worse , Gentrification is destroying London to certain degree pushing born and bred locals out of London which will always be the best city in the UK.
