For your ring finger, you can file the dual form to fit your cuticle area better, you wouldn’t have had the ledge and the product would’ve been that much closer to yours cuticle. Of course it’s not a huge deal to file but, it’s just a tip that I do when I apply polygel. 🥰 love your videos and glad you and your family are well. Me and my family also had covid and thankfully we all recovered

Yeah it is harder than it looks. No matter how thin I spread it, gel still squishes out of cuticle area.and those clear nail clips just make it worse. Waste of money!

@@missvixen45 try applying with a small gap between the application and where your nail bed meets your cuticle area like they do in salons. It is a lot easier to make a clean look!

Also, making sure there is no product on the cuticle at all and only the nail bed will prevent lifting and air bubbles as they grow out.

I can never get my poly gel hard enough. It breaks right where my own fingernail ends. I’ve tried making it thicker. That doesn’t work.

This happened to me once when I used too much slip solution/alcohol on my brush. I dab the brush after dipping it so that the liquid doesn’t soak the polygel. Never had soft polygel again. ❤

okay so honest review of poly gel. It’s a very fun thing to do and it takes a long time when you first start working with it. Around (3-4 hours) but when you get use to it will take less time around 1-3 hours so it’s not as easy as 15 minutes. It can be super messy but again you need practice and technique. ITS NOT EASY

that would be a a prepping error. You'll need to pull back cuticles and buff the nail plate using a soft buffing file. Then you use primer and a base coat. Finally, you will be ready to do the polygel. I had the same issue at first. Watch as many videos on possible.

I’ve heard the same thing about this brand so I’ve been using Beetles and I’m in love with that brand! 🥰 My nails stay put for 3 weeks, but I’m heavy handed so I might pop one off after 2 1/2 weeks 🤦🏽‍♀️ lol

Polygel is so easy to do, but I had to change to rubber gel on my natural nails because I do CrossFit and my polygel nails would break off on the daily but Very easy to put on. Also if you’re doing an sport like me round nails are better I use almond shaped

I bought a set from one of these companies on amazon and the tubes were so empty I could barely make 1 short nail from them. Some had more but I see similar reviews for this product. The sad thing is that they do work but they might come almost completely empty. I had to use like 3 different colors to finish my set of short nails.

Thanks so much for this video. I just got my polygel in the nail but that's it! I have trying to figure out what to use to shape it since I didn't get any solution. Now that I've seen this Im Going to go try to do my nails again and use alcohol as the solution. I was just putting a lil bit of gel on my real nail and then press down with a clear nail to shape it then cure it and pop off the clear nail and then use file to shape it until I like. It seemed I wasn't doing something right and now I know lol
