TO BELONG - Part 4: Before It Gets Dark

BADADUSSSSH!! Part 4 is here, everybody!! :D
I can also say that due to lack of material to work with I had to simplify their backstory for this crossover version. The original is much darker and their father is in the picture as well, but it did not work here. I did not intend their past to be "the big twist" (that comes later), because the "twist" in my opinion is the consequences of the event rather than the event itself (Anya suffering from PTSD) and that was revealed in the previous part.
The whole thing becomes a lot more humorous if you try and imagine Sinbad compulsively taking of and putting on his hat in-between shots. XD (all my detail energy went on the bags under Anya's eyes)
I had to change their ages in order for the casting to work. :,( Origianlly their ages are 15, 19 and 23, but now they are 15, 20 and 26 (when they are kids they are under 1, 6 and 12).
I wanted to show more flashbacks here, like from their time in the orphanage, but there was no space for it.
To clear things up:
- Fire is not a trigger for Anya, her animal form is. The visions of fire are part of her memories.

This is probably a minor thing but... Half the time I was staring at Anya trying to figure out if she'd always had the circles under her eyes. Because I could've sworn she didn't in the movie, but it looked so natural here I honestly wasn't sure. And then I check the description and see you added those in? That's amazing!

I can't tell you how completely in love I am with this series. The premise and ideas are great, the characters are portrayed wonderfully, you don't use pandering humor or overblown ad tired cliches. And while te character list is getting longer, I still can recognize who I need to focus on, while appreciating the smaller sides. And I won't lie, I teared up a bit at the flashback part. Bravo, you just earned yourself a subscriber

Oh, man, it was so touching, but also so much fun! You just did a super-duper amazing job with the dialogues and, of course, with the material like manips and all. Like, seriously. It's really difficult to make a huge project like this with limited manips and having to modify them to fit the story. I may be repeating myself, but your care with the smallest details really impresses me. My goodness, even the little Anya's baby blues! Awesome! And the bags under her eyes. Wooow. =D GEEZ, things will get (even more) interesting with them on high seas! And that last scene, for God's sake! Girl power! hahaha ^-^ Amazingly well done, as always!

Beautiful. The relationship between the three siblings is just so heartwarming, from the way the brothers look after Anya to the way they pick at each other in the friendly way. Love them. Iunno, Anya, I think you protest too much when it comes to Mulan... Very well done with Anya's PTSD. It was just POWERFUL. And Esmeralda makes the BEST ship captain. Oh gosh I cannot even wait to see her in action!

It's simple to show that she is from a country far away and does not know the language the main characters are speaking. I added Swedish subtitles because gibberish would have been silly and Swedish in one of the languages I know the best. :)

Okay so. I'm waiting for this so so so long (as i think xD) and it's here. I don't know what to say, i just feel like Disney and DreamWorks together and created a cartoon of all its characters. I madly love it. Indeed it is so interesting that I look at it again and again. And I just can not find words to describe it is amazing and so nice to me. The plot, the masks, the atmosphere, story. Just like a real cartoon. I don't believe that it is not real. AND I CAN'T BELIEVE IN THIS! T-T You're amazing. You're work too. And I just can't describe so I thank you for your work. So much excitement and inspiration come from your videos. I just love it. This helps me, as well as your lessons in which I make my video. ((Copied and pasted from a previous reply!)) It includes direct neglect from their father, which their mother was powerless to stop (she was a victim too). Sinbad mentions in passing about how they should try and scare their abusive father away, little Anya takes it to heart and starts a fire on *purpose*. But everything gets out of hand, and their mother looses her life in the fire together with her husband. The children were then sent to an orphanage, where they were viewed as devil spawns and were basically left to fend for themselves. Nobody would have blinked twice if they had starved to death, so they escaped and lived out on the streets all while Anya is mentally disabled and Jim was just a baby. :,( Top reasons why this versions was not shown here: 1. There was not enough material to work with when it came to the young versions of the siblings. 2. All of this would have needed 1 whole part, something that felt unnecessary when they are left with the exact same motivation and scars with just the small flashbacks here.
