Not only do they write kick ass tunes, but they're also pretty damn cool. While touring with COC they were kind enough to record a birthday message for my big brother. I will never forget how happy he was when he go it.

Just caught up on No Cover over here in Germany (holding down the homestead while my wife is deployed...were a US military family) and this was my favorite track. All of your stuff will be on my running playlist soon! The most original stuff I have heard in years!

God i love seeing the camera shake on the drummers cam, really adds to the last minute of the song. Been listening to you all for the last 5 years, its great to see you all get the attention you deserve.

Not for long. I hope with this record deal these guys get the credit they deserve. Easily one of my favorite bands since I've first heard them.

Watching musicians cope with failure in bands like this is always awesome, lol. I watched these guys open for Avatar, who put on their usual theatrics (which in this instance involved shooting massive confetti strings into the audience at the end of the show) before getting an encore. One of the guitarists walked out and started windmilling and caught the confetti with his hair, and proceeded to wrap it around his entire body. After the windmilling section was done, he just went back to playing guitar as if he wasn't wrapped up like a mummy while a stage tech ran up like "heh.. just let me get that" and started unwrapping him. Guy didn't miss a note.

I really have no clue why this video didn't have way more views. You guys have so much talent. Now I'm a guitarist and drummer which were both awesome. Especially the transitions. That banjo was great too. I have no idea how to play the banjo but I have always wanted to learn. Let alone to sing while singing. Plus those harmonies were amazing. Amazing bass work. Man I played bass in my first band I was ever in and I loved doing odd off beat things and dude I don't know how you can play like that. Also, I don't know if it was because I never paid attention before but that is the first time I have ever see a bass with a capo. Altogether amazing work guys. I mean this is art. And needs to be heard. Great Job guys!!!

So...I was listening to Maylene and The Sons of Disaster and then this video auto played after. Didn’t see any of the stats and thought man, whoever this band is, I must have been sleeping under a rock to have missed out on because this is incredibly good. I see the views. 2k. WHAT!? Swore this would have had a million. This is amazing music my friends. New, refreshing, different, yet familiar. Thank you for sharing it with the world. And I hope more people stumble on this art.

How does this have less than 10k views? Y'all are doing a disjustice to my boys here. One of the most unique sounds I've heard in years. The drummer is a goddamn madman for adding double bass at the end but i love it haha.

“Sons of Destruction” lyrics: Oh, Lord please let not all these sins have been in vain And oh, that’s why we choke down poison just to numb the pain Oh, the plague I sent down swept the south like a hurricane And if I’m damned to drop down to hell, I pray to God I’m first able to raise some Cain Oh, the shine brought darkness that this land had never seen And oh, Destruction came so swift to a land once so serene Oh, the Thompson barked like the hounds of hell, a fire-spitting machine And if the Lord doth protest me, the Good Book said that he would intervene God damn your sins, now let yourself be free Live your life in the land of opportunity If daddy were here, he’d be proud to know When the vultures came ‘round, that I didn’t eat no crow Oh, Lord please let not all these sins have been in vain And oh, that’s why we choke down poison just to numb the pain God damn your sins, now let yourself be free Live your life in the land of opportunity If daddy were here, he’d be proud to know When the vultures came ‘round, that I didn’t eat no crow Yes, he’d be proud to know When the vultures came ‘round that I didn’t eat no crow Destruction Sons of Destruction We’re comin’ for you!
