As much as the advice of a lowly fan is worth. Hell, I dont know if youre gonna read this...or even SEE it. Start putting out covers! You guys have a good sound a serious powerhouse vocalist, but its no good if nobody can hear you. Put out a spread of strong cover songs, with good timing, and people will start finding your sound. Plus it will give the fans something to chew on in between new things. In fact May 18th, 7 days from now, is the day Chris Cornell took his own life, and rocked the entire music community. Millions of people between March and June will be looking up and listening to Chris Cornells Songs right now...so I would recommend sometime within the next month maybe putting a Soundgarden or audioslave cover. My personal recommendation would be "Cochise", "Show me how to Live", or "Shadow on the Sun". Plus Taylor Momsen and a number of other artists always put up memorial posts this time of year on their social media...a lot of fans trading videos, old recordings and favorite songs. If someone were to slip a badass cover in there, that's money in the bank(figure of speech). In June, we lost Chester Bennington. Same deal. Find a Linkin Park song and stamp your name on it. This has been a huge year for brining back old sounds. Offspring just made a comeback. Rise Against is making a comeback. Rumours are MCR is making a comeback. Hayley Williams has been steadily putting together new music. Pick your targets and start putting out covers. People looking for their songs, will find your songs, and you will gain a stronger following, I guarantee it. Plus it helps you guys stretch your musical chops a bit, and shows people you have the grit and the knowhow to cover classics and push your sound. Hell, if you want then I WILL give you a comprehensive list of songs that would make excellent covers, if yall are of a mind for it.
