Sherry Wolf's appeal was denied by the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. She and Paul Wolf later divorced. At last report, both she and her former husband continue to serve their sentences of life imprisonment without parole.

I read a book once that talked about the Texas Rangers in the early days when Texas was still a territory. If you want to read some exciting tales you should read about the early Rangers. They were few in number with vast miles of countryside in their jurisdictions. There were still people going into Mexico to steal horses and cattle and the Mexicans came up here sometimes, too. It was almost a part of Mexico since everybody around there had to speak Spanish and English and some Indian languages. There were all kinds of desperadoes lurking around ready to kill people and a lot of colorful characters.

I love these Texas accents but I keep looking around expecting to see Little Joe and Hoss somewhere. You know you're having a bad day when you "accidentally" kill two people in two separate incidents. I HATE when that happens. This guy thinks everyone he's talking to are idiots. Maybe his momma would believe his "accident" story but I doubt that anyone else would and if his momma is real sharp she won't believe him either. The guy passed a lie detector test when they asked whether he had murdered that old lady. They gave him another test and he passed that one as well and they still kept coming at him. At first glance it would appear that the cops are just harassing this poor innocent man even though he has passed two lie detector tests. So why don't they back off and leave him alone? Oops. Turns out he was guilty all along but somehow had passed the lie detector test. The cops' instincts were better than the polygraph machine. I guess I can understand now why the results of lie detector tests are not admissible in court. But how does one lie on two separate tests and neither test picks up the fact that he is lying? The guy who was driving him around while he sat directly behind him playing with an electrical cord must have nerves of steel. I would have been pulling that car over in some public place and telling that guy his ride was over. And he had cut their telephone wire. I wonder what his plans were for them? He must have had in mind that he would go back there later in the evening to rape or rob or murder again. Maybe he thought the husband was out of town and the wife would be there by herself and he could do to her what he did to the old lady. This is a BAD dude and he does not deserve to live.

Psychopaths don’t get stressed out by their crimes. Polygraph doesn’t detect spike in heart rate etc and says they’re telling the truth. Hence why polygraphs mean squat.

It's not uncommon. The more...sensitive... generation would call it racist, even though friends of mine of Seminole descent refer to themselves as Indians. It's not technically correct but historically it has been common parlance - and seemingly still is.
