What you said is already being followed by Central Board Of Secondary Education, New Delhi all over India. Language imposition is unconstitutional according to Article 14 of Indian Constitution. Those who want to learn their regional languages can learn it via an optional language and it is not added to their final marks.

@The Witcher He got Finance, Corporate affairs, Defence and I&B after losing his LS election. It was Modi's way of saying thank you. It had nothing to do with his competency. Some say its due to Jaitleys support during Modi's court troubles. NDTV anchors celebrated when it was announced he wil be I&B and finance minister. What does it say? His ill health and death is perhaps the only reason PC went to jail. He was actively protecting PC and even defended National Herald case as saying 'it can be dropped if they pay a fine'. When Swamy dragged them court, Modi did take credit by calling 'bail gaadi' but without crediting Swamy. So Swamy does have a valid reason to feel used and betrayed.
