I wish I could capture the blues of the ocean when its clear and sunny and the water also has primo viz. Just beautiful your videos. Its peculiar how the cuda just tagged along like that for two whole days. I had the fun of catching a barracuda while I went shore fishing in Singapore. I did let it release of course.

Make your anchor bridle 40' long and bring them both to windward one on bow one on stern roller, rotate bow into swell. No more roll. If Roll / swell changes and if you have a 3rd line already on briddle, move to opposite cleat around bow and walk aft line around and repeat. 😊try it and let me know.

I guess I'm #3 then. As usual another brilliant few minutes of your adventures. Love you guys. Oh to be youngish again. By the way, it's 3°C across the ditch here where I live. How's that compare with you.? That's just a throwaway question. Btw how's Sophie.? Hope she's OK. She's the only reason I'm subscribed to your channel. He says. 🤔 It's a joke mate. Thank you again for sharing. Loving this. Take care guys.

I admire y'alls freedom and ability to do life naked at every opportunity. I would be doing the same thing. I hate wearing clothes! Trust me if I was on my own boat in a remote location I would be bare naked and loving life. Did y'all get Jack in the water naked?
@Thenewkidsonthedock4 ай бұрын
Hey John thanks for the comment, we do love getting the kit off and feeling the sun and wind completely. Sounds like you’ve got the same idea! Jack was exposed to a lot whist on board, I imagine next time he visits he will feel more confident to enjoy being natural too. Cheers mate! Josh

i wish the videos were longer. have you thought of doing an unedited or lightly edited, like bloopers real life filming all the good bad and ugly of new kids on the dock. just a thought 💭 💭
@Thenewkidsonthedock4 ай бұрын
hey mate! thanks for the comment. have you seen any of our earlier videos? they were pretty much all like that! but we’ve found that people prefer storyline’s over blooper style, everyday vlogging videos. but josh and I have actually had some good conversations around our channel, and we’ve decided that we were much happier in making those types of videos - so you’ll be seeing more of that soon! there’s a lot of amazing content, stories and videography out there in the sailing tube world - but there’s only one of us. so we feel that we should hone in more on that 🥰 cheers for the confirmation! phoebe

There's Elon portable satellite. Why not get one. Good tool for uploading videos while yer in the middle of nowhere. It makes life easier for navigation and weather forecasts. Internet self deprivation is foolish decision. You can opt not to watch social while having an internet connection.😂

I am sick and tired hearing that the respective petson/couple started w/o any experience in sailing and I don't understand why they are emphazising that. Without any experience you can't even leave the harbour nor rise the sails and sail towards a destination. So, pls. skip that BS.
@Thenewkidsonthedock12 күн бұрын
I wish we had a better answer for you, but we quite literally set sail from Ballina having sailed only 5-6 times - twice with experienced sailors and the other times just tacking up and down a river. In the time we were getting the boat ready Josh spent every spare moment watching other sailing vlogs and reading books to prepare. We have a deep understanding of the ocean, and to pair that with the basic physics of sailing we’ve shown that anyone can do it. We take any opportunity we can to learn from others and ask all of the right questions. We’re proud to say that we are where we are now having never sailed before or coming from families that sail. It IS possible! 😁
