Yeah, it's too late in the game for any negotiations. The war is lost by Ukraine. Unconditional surrender is the only practical solution for Ukraine at this point. Hitler's Germany also refused to admit defeat until Hitler killed himself, then Keitel signed unconditional surrender. Post war settlement is Russia's business.

Both are slavic race, same tradition, same culture, same social values... What USA did in Ukraine is like a man who will come to your house as a friend and start to seduce your wife and take her to a date because he doesn't care about the time and energy you spent on that lady to change her into a wife. The enemy doesn't care about your children. Likewise Russia is asking Ukraine to not allow the enemy come between them.
