In 80's and 90's Keralites used to go to other stated and gulf as unskilled labourers in small jobs. But each person's family benefited, kids studied and their life got better. So there is a gap in Kerala as the lower strata of society got raised, there is no one to do the unskilled jobs. Also the skilled people also started migrating overseas for better jobs and to more western countries. So we needed the guest workers. I hope these Guest worker's family also grow up, their sons and daughter get education and their life progress.

@@vimaldawn RSS is ruling India for the last 9 years - quite successfully at that. So, don't compare RSS with an is-lamic te rror organization. The fact is that the central government banned PFI. So, clearly u were not able to "handle" it 🤡

@@mlg1279 even if they rule another 10 years also. In Kerala both PFI and RSS is same and we don't give a damn about the Religion. We prefer to see everyone without thier tag. Let them follow whatever they wanted. Let the religion me within themselves regardless.

My parents are originally from Kerala and i used to visit Kerala a lot, i didn't even knew what the cast system was nor have i ever seen a slums until i visited Delhi (north in general was a huge culture shock though). For my Parents it was very normal to have friends from different religions ... they occasionally still meet today. Our house workers and staff eat on the same table with us from the same plate, i only realized that it's not normal like that once i visited some parts of the north. Actually my dad (who is a christian) says, his hindu friends in Kerala are the most concerned about BJP as they feel that BJP is not representing the real Hindu values as per the vedas. My Aunt's who is a professor, one of her best friends who is also a professor from the same fields is from Karachi and due to work they even visit each other often and call regularely. Even though when it comes to marriage, people want to stay within their religion but people in Kerala are very proud of having friends from other religion and communities. It makes me really sad it's not like that all over india and that the divide is even growing faster.

oud to be a Keralite. I was recently in Kerala. To carry out some work, we contacted a laborer who turned out to be a Bengali. He spoke to us in good Malayalam. He did a good job, and we gave him 100 Rupees more than what was agreed,

As in Kerala, many Indians give priority to human values above religion...so I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who supported Kerala by not believing the baseless allegations made against Kerala by the organized vested interests.
