Re Starter at the grocery store? This reminded me of one of my mother’s favorite Reader’s Digest jokes (probably from the 1960s): A young bride read about a food dish that was “made from scratch.” The young bride was frustrated because she could not find “scratch” at the grocery store.

Ha! I also didn't know the true meaning of scratch. 51 years ago my soon to be stepmother made us a chocolate cake from scratch. When I learned what scratch meant I felt bad for her cuz she must have not had enough money for a Betty Crocker cake mix, like my Mom used. It was several years later that I learned that making things from scratch was actually the preferred method. 😆 I sure did have a good laugh at myself!

Jordan the only way to actually kill starter is neglect it do long it gets actual mold! Depending on what you added wrong - it can be fixed - maybe not for that day but it's not dead! Hope you googled how to correct, chances are ypu will just need to wait an extra couple days for it to get perky again

My grandpa had that car shaped jar. It was at a local gas station with beef jerky in it. When it was empty he got it. I don't know if they gave it to him or he bought it. That was in the 80s. I have it now

I thought of something cool for that chicken basket, you could use it as a sales prop. Fill it with colored plastic eggs, each color could signify a dollar amount or percentage off the purchase total. Just have the customer reach in and pick an egg. It could be an egg-cellent sale!

The Ross Simmons colorful fish divided serving plate at the beginning of the video is an $80 piece ☹️. Ross Simmons is a very expensive jewelry store with really high end jewelry and other items. I found 1 piece listed in this pattern on EBay. So just in case you run across Ross Simmons on something in the future you will know to comp it.
