This is the sister that was goin to open the antique store and had the building and getting the permits, the city decided that there was not enough parking spaces for that type of store. So, they had it all shipped to South Carolina and moved there and took all of her things to an Auction House and they sold it all over time, it took awhile, there was so much. She said that it was the best thing that ever happened and never looked back. I looked at her cabinet that she has in her house and she does have about 15 of the most amazing things that she kept. Good luck in all of your future endeavors.

How is Bradg being a troll? She has not been very honest or forthcoming about alot of things. She was denied a permit to operate for illegally having auctions on her store premises. She did alot of unfavorable things towards the vendors in her store. Everyone jumps to her defense without looking at all sides objectively. Take the emotion out of it and look at facts.

Boy, did I get lucky today? I found a makasa porcelain Christmas candy dish for $1.10. At a little junk shop here in Greenville, Tennessee where I live. I looked it up and on eBay. They are selling for $24. Well, even if it doesn't sell for $24. If I sail it For 5 I've made a lot of profit. Thank you danni for showing me how to shop 1 dollar and ten cents

I got snookered with mystery bags at my local Goodwill. After 3 in a row I went back and showed the manager the junk. He gave my money back. He explained that they had been letting some of the handicapped workers put together the bags, and some were just putting in what they loved. Once my 15 dollar bag had only plastic watch bands,without watches 😂😂❤

I am sorry I must have missed of the closing of your store?? My husband and I were in Oklahoma for a month for the OU college games. Guess what I did went antique shopping. I was just in Vegas this past weekend. Went to Charleston Antique Mall when they opened on Sunday and some of the vendors gave me good deals. Also went to Paradise Valley Antique Mall and found more treasures. Yes you can find items to resell online.😀

I sell mystery bags in my booth. I put vintage items- smalls and such. I try to have the items themed and the value greater than what they pay for the bag. ($3-$6 usually).

I know this had to be hard but it’s the first day of your new beginning. I notice you don’t go to garage sales. Have you considered them because you can buy really low and sell high. Goodwill and antique stores seem to be increasing in price, which makes it more difficult to make a profit.

So many beautiful items there but so crammed packed in their booths. I feel that merchandise sells quicker with less items, so items are highlighted to draw attention to. You would restock more frequently but sell at such a faster rate. Each item can stand out by itself but with so many items, it's hard for the eye to see. Rotating stock with fewer items could help their sales.

More about the swung vases, my sister was an antique dealer at a flee market that was all antiques in a town in Ohio where everyone went to for their antiques and glass. I asked her about swung vases and she didn’t even know what they were. She never sold them and she was there selling or shopping at Estate sales every weekend. That’s how unpopular they were. Crazy how things change.
