y'all in the comments need to understand that sometimes a bad therapist can set you even father back than you were before you started treatment, or just not actually help at all in which case you're just wasting your money. With a LOT of therapy programs like these the majority of the therapists are basically recent college grads with 0 experience treating people. Plus, they are overloaded with patients and not paid a lot comparatively (hence why the programs are able to be more affordable on the front end) which also lessens the amount of time and effort they can give to individual people.

To be fair it’s not all dolphins, it’s mostly male dolphins. The young males form rpe gangs and hunt down females then hold them down and rpe them, sometimes killing them in the process. Female dolphins when they have babies don’t sleep for like a month after giving birth bc baby dolphins don’t sleep, and it’s not like they got ocean play pens. The females seem to have it rough while the males are out fcking around getting high off puffer fish & gang rping unsuspecting females. So let’s keep the dolphin slander for the male dolphins. But yo ducks and just as fcked up. Well some species of male dcks. They’re such prolific rpists that females have evolved corkscrew vagnas to avoid getting impregnated by derpy male ducks. Unfortunately male ducks evolved corkscrew c@cks to compensate. So the females had to evolve vagnas that corkscrewed in the other direction. It’s a literal genital arms race.

The teenager being bored of sightseeing historic buildings is probably one of the most teenage complaints I’ve ever heard. I’m crippled but pushed my body to go to Dunadd Fort, caused me a lot of pain (because nerve damage is fun that way), but I’ve a keen interesting in Neolithic, Pictish and Gaelic history in my country. It was cool AF putting my foot in the coronation stone, legends claim that Dalriadan Kings would put their foot into the mark and get ceremoniously married to the land, that’s how they got crowned, and I put my foot into it (after a 30 minute break and hobbling over with my cane lmao). It was fun trying to imagine what the fort looked like as only a very small part still survives, I then made some 360s for google maps so others around the world can see Dunadd as if they were there themselves. You don’t even have to find the history particularly interesting or know that specific Pictish Kingdom, you can just enjoy the landscape, enjoy the fact that you’re a human in 2022 sitting at a fort that was used in the 600’s and try to imagine the food they ate, the clothes they wore, the weapons they used, and how different our lives are due to all the advances humanity has made. Plus as a teenager you might not find it interesting now but it could be something you develop an interest for as an adult, I know as a teen I had a somewhat interest in Gaelic history because my Grandma taught me a lot, but as an adult this turned into a love affair with the Neolthic Era, Pictish Era and Gaelic Era, so try not to write off sightseeing as a teenager, those may be cherished memories when you grow older! Plus it doesn’t hurt to at least pretend to be interested if you’re with family, your parents could find it really interesting, try not to trash on their interests.

It’s great that you got to enjoy that despite your circumstances, but the teenager still doesn’t have to enjoy sightseeing/history just because they has access to it 😅 as you say yourself, we all have different interests!

@@annan8825 I mean sure, but if it’s something your parents wanna see try not to trash on it, they take an interest in your hobbies even if they don’t understand them or don’t like the hobby very much (like gaming, so many parents just don’t get it), so it’s always nice to at least be nice about their interests. Plus you can see if there’s something at the location that does interest you, maybe take some pictures or chill for a bit!

I don’t think ghosting has anything to do with hotness level. A lot of people ghost these days and it’s because they just aren’t emotionally mature enough to just have a conversation or they’re hiding something. It’s truly a bullshit thing to do. Unless someone is harassing you, then feel free to ghost because that’s deserved.

i would often download tinder, get bored of it and delete my account. this apparently means i was regularly ghosting dozens of people at one, which never came back to bite me in the ass. until my brother insistently asked if i remembered this random girl (i did not). turns out she matched him, found his ig, saw his tagged pics and recognized me in a photo that wasn't even in my profile (the picture my brother was showing me was the one i matched with i guess). they talked for a few months but thankfully it didn't work out lmao

Theoretically I agree with the car opinion, but realistically, I live in a very hot country and I honestly dk how ppl lived before cars here. A few years ago they've built a metro, but u need a car to reach the station most the time as well 💀 walking is rarely an option.

Ghosting is the opposite, it's what someone who can't face rejection or confrontation does to avoid it all together. The person who wrote that was only trying to justify their cowardice by claiming it's "strength". A true skill is not having to ghost at all but being able to flow through relationships while maintaining friendships
@sari96452 жыл бұрын
Exactly.
@pinksapple2 жыл бұрын
do you genuinely think its strength to maintain friendship in all cases? sometimes its just fear of abandonment / settling for whatever the person will give you because you feel you dont deserve anything more. Or oppositely wanting to keep someone around for the attention they give you even though you do not have affectionate feelings for them. Otherwise I agree totally with your comment ! But to me facing rejection or confrontation can mean coming to conclusion after talking it through that the relationship will bring more suffering than good for one or both of the parties in which case it is better to stop it

@@pinksapple I think what you're referring to happens a lot also, and is the opposite side of that spectrum. Fear of abandonment is on one end with fear of rejection on the other and in the middle is the balance. Holding on too tightly though cause of insecurity can be just as harmful if your stringing people along cause of your fear of abandonment. I think the common denominator that would make either of those scenerios weak is harm. If it's harmful to the other person then it's a lack of strength. Even if its a fear of hurting them its more harmful to string them along and thats not right. If it's harmful to you only then it's a lack of good coping skills that just need managed and helped. Finding balance in things is the key to life imo. Finding the balance in emotions/feelings is just one of the most difficult to find.

Actually Noel, In the US each year six people die by being crushed by a vending machine. Five of them are insurance appraisers, while testing to see if they can be rocked enough to tip and crush them.
