The kimono captain, is captain of the 8th squad Kyoraku Shunsui. You can call him Shunsui it will be easier to remember. The 8th squad lieutenant is Nanao Ise, she is the shinigami with the book and glasses. Kenpachi's subordinates are 3rd seat Ikkaku, the bald shinigami, 5th seat Yumichika the self claim most beautiful shinigami. The 9th Squad captain Kaname Tousen, he wears sports glasses and a ponytail. The 9th squad lieutenant is Hisagi Shuhei, the shinigami with the 69 tattoo. The 7th squad captain Komamura Sajin, he wears the bucket on his head. The 7th squad lieutenant Tetsuzaemon Iba, he wears the black sunglasses and you can just call him Iba it will make easier to remember him.

It never gets covered in the show but one of the databooks released for the series tells us that Tesuzaemon's mother was a high ranking officer and when he became a Soul Reaper he was pressured into rising through the ranks.

Each Captain reveals what they can do during the entrance ceremony when obtaining the rank of captain. The same thing happens when someone reaches Bankai. So the Captains do know how powerful each other are or at least have a understanding about it and so do most squad members. Hence why Kenpachi was able to have the R&D department help him suppress his power.

That is very rare. Most people barely get down to like their 3rd year in life and even then it might only be like 1 or 2 strong memories. The reason is that normally the brain is only developed enough for long term memory in that period of a childs life then of course onwards.

If bleach had more one piece like fans they’d watch what happens in thousand year blood war and say omgosh the call back and foreshadowing to why so and so did that this is deeper than I give it credit. Instead they call it out of left field and a plot hole and bad writing etc. bleach is or was to subtle vs the manga at the time for its own good. One piece can be subtle too but it got genius fans working around the clock to decider it like it’s the final book lol. Naruto out here just telling you talk no jutsu how to piece things together lol much more easy to grasp. All of the big three were and are still great glad their all running again at the same time. We needed this popularity boost after the pandemic decline lost fans and gained angry disgruntled apathetic jaded ones who call everything MID.

Uh about ep 64-108 even though people call it filler, the main series in the anime references back to it so i don't think it's filler. Canon episodes don't reference back to non canon episodes and eventually will in a major way. If you skip the whole arc by the time you get to the point where it comes into play you'll be even more confused and it won't have much impact. You guys can do with that what you want.

So you're going to skip coming up on half of the episodes because people call them "filler." That's sad. Fortunately for me I decided to watch every episode because although there are arcs that are not necessarily tied into the "main arc," if you can even call it that, there are some nonetheless excellent arcs, battles, characters and also character development, backstory and context that helps develop the main story, and you will miss out on that. The only part I thought was a bit meh was the first part of series 4, though the second half picks up.
