The thing about Mr. Peanutbutter is that he does love Diane, but because he's a golden retriever, he's the type of dog that is super excitable and wants to be a good boy for his human. He gives Diane the D like he brought something back from fetch and expects her to be happy, and he brings in all the cameras after his proposal because why would you not want to share your love with the world? He's not being malicious or anything, he just can't see things from Diane's perspective, because he doesn't understand the nuances of their different personalities..

Now the Mr.Peanutbutter's finished Arc is he can see what other people wants, he give the people the D. Didn't show up on PC party (where PB show up in every party) etc.

The only reason why people think Diane should initially have been with Bojack is because Bojack is the main character and we already feel bad for him so we feel like he should have the girl because she understands him. But like... Bojack is an awful person and is too destructive to function in a normal relationship so he and Diane would just be a disaster. Mr. PB and Diane aren't perfect, but that relationship is way healthier than her and Bojack, since Mr. PB puts more effort into relationships and is overall a more positive influence in Diane's life.

Despite everything that happens to Diane and Mr. Peanutbutter in future seasons (and I won't spoil it all, people who watch the show know what I mean), I'm still rooting for those two to work things out in the end! They're my OTPs! LOL ^_^ Ok, not really, but I do want things to work out in the end for those 2! :)

Nevi1097 Just because BoJack is a mess and can't have a healthy relationship, doesn't mean Diane and Mr Peanutbutter are such a great couple, either. I don't believe that opposites really attract that much - not when they have so little in common and want different things out of life.

Yeah, i kinda started shipping them just beacuse she was Bojack's first love interest. I still think they'll end up together, but not beacuse i like this ship, but beacuse i have a feeling that's what writers are going for. Knowing show's usual greatness, they'll surely handle Diane & Bojack new realiationship perfectly. If not, they can stay Best Friends Forever/Platonic Life Partners, and i'm gonna be 100% cool with that.

Watch the opening credits, every small detail that changes in the story and plot is immediately put in the exact next episode's opening credits. For example, because of what happened to the Hollywood sign in this episode, the D has disappeared from the sign in the background in the next episode's intro.

Next episode ("Say Anything") is to me where the show gets really good! To many it's "The Telescope", which comes after that, and I get why people say that, but "Say Anything" do also get the similar vibe that will go through most of the season! Plus, it's a Princess Caroline episode, so Rana's gonna love it for sure! lol :)

My daughter in law loves Friends, I have had to sit through almost every episode. All my grown children and I agree, it's an average sitcom in our opinion. Still a lot of people love it and feel otherwise, to each his own I guess, but it seems way over hyped to me.
