It's not just the clone that Roy was mad about, but also the fact that even knowing he had been cloned everyone (especially his mentor) still gave up on him and when you combine this with losing 8 years of his life his anger is pretty justifiable.

See I really love how this one show was able to build a fully functioning universe with its own different story threads for different characters all on its own instead of having solo spinoffs for each character/team. I still feel like this is the closest MCU equivalent DC has had since the Timmverse but better in terms of coherence. The amount of stuff this show handles is amazing

Honestly this is one of my favorite episodes of the show. There aren't many episodes I'll just watch on their own, but I replayed this one specifically a ton over the years. It's just such a fun watch of non-stop action and Lex proving why he's one of the best villains in all of comics.

D.C. Animated movies that feature Constantine are really amazing. A blend of funny and dark that always lands. Under the Red Hood tells the Jason Todd story. The Long Halloween Batman Animated movies and Hush are also great source material for the Dark Knight and Robert Pattison Batman movies

2:48 Keep in mind that the 8 years count for 3 years before the begining of season 1 and the five years between season 1 when Learned about Roy's clone and season two when the real Roy is found, clone Roy is the only hero who kept searching between season 1 and two therefore Oliver was fooled for 3 years and didn't do anything for Roy for 5 years. Something kinda fucked up about the Jason Todd situation is that there was seemingly very little time between his death and Tim Drake becoming Robin. If we assume Dick Grayson becomes Nightwing about a year after the end of season one, which is being generous, then that gives us only four years in which Batman has to find Jason, adopt him, train him up to be Robin, have him be Robin for some time, die and then hav Batman go through the whole process again with Tim.
