So the girl that looks like Nobara was in season 1, she is the doctor lady at Jujutsu High with big eyebags that smokes a lot and looks like she hasn't slept in years, and Utahime , the black hair girl at the beginning of the episode from the haunted house is the teacher from Kyoto school with a big scar over her face that Gojo keeps teasing and messing with in season 1.

One detail that I find really interesting about Gojo is the symbolism of his eyes. Because of the 6 eyes power, he literally has the most hyper focused eyes of anyone on the planet, being able to see people down to just their cursed energy, almost like a sorcerer Matt Murdock. Yet, ironically, this makes it very distracting when he has to look at them. As the representative of what the peak of power looks like in the Jujutsu world, he (as shown in this episode) used to have a very hard time understanding the struggles of those weaker than them. He’s so powerful that he can’t even begin to relate to the plight of the weak, or understand why they deserve protecting. This creates a perfect irony where, when his eyes were completely open in his youth physically (as he didn’t rly wear a blindfold and at MOST had some light shades covering his face) they were the most closed emotionally. Yet, in the present time, where he has fully matured as a result of presumably what occurs in this season as well as his experiences with Megumi, Yuta, Itadori, etc. even though his eyes are physically blocked wholly by the blindfold, they are more open than ever. It’s stuff like this which makes JJK so complex in its upcoming material in ways that were never rly tapped into with the first season’s material.

This is why i hate when people claim shonen is all generic trash mid etc. They miss all this stuff and then go crazy when some adult story has some slice of life episode saying how its bad to steal or something simple or the poor are hurting too etc. Stuff we see in episodes of hey arnold back in the day and flip for lol. Not saying that's bad, its still good just hate that people act like authors are just writing crap to past the time. They all put symbolism and thought into their projects. Well at least the big popular ones. But you will still get the fast tap rule of I wasted 3 eps I don't get the hype seems mid whats so good about it just animation trash pass etc. Let em cook I say.

Gojo cant even relate to people because once he selfactualized he noticed life was just that...His infinity and all cursed powers come from the mind...he thinks in the infinite. I will say this read the manga...Season 2 is gonna likely be great but people will under or hate it but it's the ice burg. Still wonder how the main character comes into all this...seems like HXH where its a story not a plot...like their telling you about characters living in this world as the author lost control over them which can be good and bad. Gojo is without spoiling...someone I didn't like for joking around and being mean, I love him now. This season does showcase that he's just a genuis that is around people and cant understand how to be normal then he's told he's not a genuis he's the most intelligent in the world and has to lower his power to speak to people. Itidorya helps him notice how there are people worth being normal for, also gojo wasn't the first that was that strong the story said that others had the 6 eyes and limitless...and fought sukuna...well see how that goes.

I think that Geto’s POV right now is very spiderman-esque. That is the power comes with responsibility to protect those without it while Gojo is very much along the lines of ‘Power is as Power wills’. We all know Geto kinda completely flips and Gojo mellows out(?)(I don’t think he changes as drastically as Geto but he changes more subtly) Will be interesting to see what changes them to the ones in the present time.

Suguru believed in protect the weak, Satoru believed in only strength. You'll understand why he changed, thats the reason for this arc, its about Satoru yes, but its more about Suguru, and why they broke up. They're my two favorite characters and this entire season will destroy me. "Ooh-tah-hee-meh" thats how you pronounce Utahime. Gojo and MeiMei hooking up 🤣🤣🤣 sure. Gojo destroyed the house, Geto exorcized the curse. Cursed Techniques are linked intrinsically with personalities, just something to remember.

Something everyone always seems to either forget, or not notice at all is that Geto doesn’t have a scar on his forehead in the events of the movie. It’s implied that Gojo killed him at the end of the movie which is also why Gojo and the principal are freaked out by his potential involvement. Also, yes, when they are kids, they have near completely opposite ideals as to when they were adults.

it's worth noting Geto does not have the scar in the movie and only has it in the first season. So so far we have Geto as a friend and fellow student with Gojo as seen here -> ?????? -> he defects and starts a cult to collect cursed spirits and declares war on Jujutsu High in the movie and is defeated by Yuta and Rika, then Gojo seems to confront him at the end of the movie but we don't see what happens -> ?????? -> he appears in season one with the scar

Actually gojo broke the building to rescue utahime and mei mei. Also in the manga this arc starts by them already figuring out that they were trapped in the building and right after utahime came up with the plan to break the curse the building began to shake then breaks with next panel reveling gojo. Also all those scenes of them in the car and exploring the building are anime originals as in the manga the context were their but we were not shown the whole journey. Also the basketball seen is also anime creative decision as in the manga the conversation are the same but they are in a class room setting. They also made their walk more dynamic while in the manga they both have same posture as geto walking side by side but less hunched as shown in anime. Like they didn't look as wonky and funny but rather they look like dude that poses enormous amount of swag. Like at times mappa walk cycles are just wonky like in the chainsaw man the way they animated aki walk in ep 10 like when he was about to meet the future devil for the first time was also wonky as hell to take you out of the seriousness of the scene.
