Some other reactors first covered the Original 1968 Planet of the Apes. Old schmold. Love these remakes but honestly the acting in the originals far surpasses these films. Mark Wahpberg & James Franco did a great job but are no Charleton Heston. Just submit & watch the original then post Cobra Kai 3-5

Another layer to add. Apparently from the main minds behind these movies, speaking hurts the apes. Hence why they sign the majority of the time and the speaking is only ever used in high drama moments, at least until Caesar gets used to speaking fluently.

The crazy thing about this, is that the only villian are the executives and Malfoy. Malfoy’s problem is obvious, but when the rest failed, the executive should have paid for the apes to either be given to a sanctuary or rehabilitated for the wild. The testing isn’t for something like make up, it’s for a life saving drug, and though it sucks, we can’t start with human testing. The father was protecting his kid from what is a wild animal that can rip humans apart and have. The animal control had to take Caesar away because they clearly showed he couldn’t be taken care of in suburbia.
