Envy revealing that he was the one to kill that little girl shocked me so bad. It just never crossed my mind that he impersonated the soldier for that until this moment. Bradley saying the Homunculi has been controlling everything since its inception was also a huge shock as well. Who drew that? Arakawa of course! She's great, huh? xD Can't wait for E26!! It's both the best and most annoying bit for me. I loved how the homunculi had the upper hand all the way through the story until the end. Envy's power came from no one knowing his power and he was probably the most important homunculus in carving the crests of blood. If he didn't gloat they could've used him until the end. If Envy was a tiny bit smarter, he'd be indisputably the most effective homunculus.

It's not that Envy has an ultimate form, it's just that he's literally "envious" about something (i don't want to spoil his character arc) so he prefers to use his morphing ability to gain that human form instead of showing what he really is. As Chris said, that's why he's way heavier than what he looks. Cause that's just a disguise, an act. After all, envy is a *green* eyed *monster* . :)

Envy doesn't have an Ultimate Form, that's just how Envy really looks. He has the ability to look like whatever, so he chooses to look more human to blend in better (and maybe he doesn't like the way he looks?). Ling said that his true form was huge 'cause when he fought him, he saw the weight of him when Envy planted himself and his foot dug deep into the ground. Also, way back around ep 14, Greed called Envy "ugly" and Envy got PISSED.

Envy didn't have a final form. He had a NATURAL form. His NATURAL form was the giant green monster (when full of souls) and the small green parasite (when souls are gone). His "human" form is a shapeshift.

the humonculas are human and the show does a pretty good job of showing that they are victims to a certain point themselves a glimpse of what they could have been of things were different a good example that gives no spoliers is gluttony and how he's a child he isnt evil he lacks that capacity he's inoccent to a fault and before you say anything you can be guilty of actions and innocent of mind there's a big diffrence between the two and at times a very fine line thats hard to view with any substance because of how horibble the actions of innocent characters can be it's like the old saying about how children are cruel and monsters in thier own right

"Envy is actually a guy" Envy interestingly enough has no actual gender, at least in the manga. But Everyone just refers to the homunculous as male in the show. And looks don't always ensure a gender. Also, you know, having a gender also kinda has reproductive organs for the most part. And I think aside from one (it'll be explained next episode i believe), homonculi really don't have any, aside from one other who shows up in the next few episodes.

No they're not. They are genderless. The english translation (because it's almost always done by straight, cis people) is inaccurate and they just slap "he" on sentences where there aren't gendered pronouns in Japanese. This happens almost EVERY SINGLE TIME there's a non-gender-conforming character in anime (For whatever reason manga & subtitle translators are usually more accurate). See Kino, Hange in AoT, recent MHA for more examples of it. Thankfully, _Land of the Lustrous_ did it correctly.
