2017年２月19日、中嶋徹は、アメリカ・ビショップにあるボルダリング課題Lucid Dreamingを登った。V15という世界最難クラスのグレードがつけられ、2010年にポール・ロビンソンが初登して以降の７年間で、ダニエル・ウッズとアレックス・メゴスのふたりしか成功していなかったきわめつけの難課題。
中嶋は、2015年の初トライ以降、2016年、2017年と、３回のツアーを要してこれに成功。トライ日数計16日間という、自身最長の時間をかけたこの課題に、彼はなにを見ていたのか。
計３回のツアーすべてに同行し、その一部始終をカメラに収めた橋本今史によるムービー『BEYOND』がついに完成した。映像クリエイターであり、自身もV14を登るクライマーである橋本。ふたりが、Lucid Dreamingにかけた２年間を語る。

Amazing climb. I love how he used almost the same works as Alex Megos when describing the problem. Something along the lines of 'no tricks, no heel hooks, no drop knees'

I love the sheer rawness of his emotion, both in hardship and in conquering the problem. I respect climbers who have the will to break through their challenges and failures.

Come back to this video so many times, to keep my motivation going. I've been trying my project over 100 tries so far , yet didn't make it. But I was closer than ever. I know I will have it soon. My first outdoor V5+.

Jed hangboard on small edges for 10 seconds on and 5 off for 4 times. Then do that 3 more times with 1-2 minutes rest in between

映像もClimbingも最高に素敵。　二手目まで？も行けないかもだけど！人生終わるまでにTryしてみたくなってしまったョ。それほどにFANTASTICな動画。何だか指先に傷を負ってる感じ。次こそ攀りたい彼になってる気持ちだ。 This movie and Climbing are also wonderful. In one Up to the second hand? I may not be able to that, But hope to try by the end of my life. It's a FANTASTIC movie so much. I feel that somehow the scratches on my fingertips like the his fingertip. It is my desire to be the next to wish.
