Looks like nobody figured that this is a Soviet song known as "The Battle Song of the Terek Cossacks". It was written in 1938 by Dmitry Pokrass and Alexey Surkov.

Has to be before July 2015 (Theo died 7/21/2015). After Schindler's List movie came out, Krakow had a resurgence of interest in its Jewish history and arts -- and tourism wanting to see where the movie was shot.
