Dill definitely does NOT belong in this dish. No point in adding vinegar or honey to the sauce. Instead, use currant jelly. Worcestershire sauce is sometimes added to the meatballs themselves, seldom to the sauce. One thing no one in Sweden would ever do is to place the meatballs in the sauce. When serving, pour the sauce over the meatballs or by the side of them on a plate. Alternatively, serve the sauce à part.

These presenters are so easily pleased. I've made far better meatballs I've come up with myself. And with garlicky carrot mash but even better with slow roasted tomato and shallot sauce with pappardelle.
