Advice for guys. Never ever feel bad about rejection. There are literally countless reasons a girl might not be interested. They could be in a relationship, just getting out of one, asexual, busy with work, going through something, you could be not their type, remind them of an ex, or they could be shallow/full of themselves. Also, be very considerate asking a girl out at work, it could make them really uncomfortable. So only do so if you really feel a connection and ask in a no big deal way, so it doesn’t ruin their work day if they have to say no. If they say no be cool and friendly about it and move on. Finally, think about how shallow and silly most of your guy friends are, women are not angels they are imperfect people just like you so don’t put them on a false pedestal. If you recognize this you won’t be nervous, rejection won’t be so serious, and you will have real friendships and relationships with women.

Here's one for ya: There was this girl I noticed and befriended on social media, I liked her very much. One night, I accidentally see her in my neighborhood - turns out she lives right across from me. It was really late and dark and there was no way I'd approach her in those conditions. So I just made a note of it and went home. Tomorrow, I sent her a DM saying I think I saw her and blabla, and she was like "oh, so why didn't you say hello". And I'm explaining and kicking myself at the same time. Couple days later she posts half-jokingly about how her vacuum cleaner was broken and I send her another DM saying I can borrow her mine if she really needs it. Surprisingly she went along with the idea, but I was out of town at that point, so I was like k, as soon as I'm back. In the meantime she tells me her friend got her as far as vacuum cleaner goes and that was that. So finally, one day as I'm getting to my bus stop, I see her already waiting there. The bus comes right as I'm arriving so she enters it before me and sits. Was a fairly full bus and she's quite noticeable with long platinum hair, really pale skin and a reaaally short skirt. Basically, she's the star of that bus. So I just gathered all the balls I had, approached her, shook her hand (which she was reluctant to offer) and said "Hey, I'm the guy with the vacuum cleaner". And she just nodded her head, completely baffled, and murmured something like "oh... um, how are you?", while visibly trying to disappear, which I picked up on right away. So I just shot a couple more follow up questions for the sake of it, and the convo died down completely. I just kept standing right next to her seat for the next 20 minutes, since there was really not much room in the bus and besides my legs were barely functional at that point. Didn't say another word to each other. Most awkward I ever felt, and there's solid competition.

I've been with my girl for 4 years. When I originally asked her she worked at Wendy's and she said sorry she had a bf. The following week I rolled up in the drive through and said do you still have that boyfriend? She said nope, got her number and the rest is history 🤣
