At some point temporos got changed. You now want to do 16 in the first run and 19 there after instead of 17 - 20 (17 - 19 also works). You will get a guarenteed 8 points with a chance of 9 or if you have the inv space for it you might be able to get up to 7600 points which is what you need for 9 points by filling your inventory with cooked fish on the last run before you kill him. I did this with 60 fishing and no special fishing gear.

Edit on this method since I have improved it. You want 9 slots in your inv filled. this will be with the equipment you bring and buckets. You will have exactly 19 spaces left this way. Round 1: You fish and cook 17 to get it below 10%, then fish and cook 19 (full inv) and attack temporos. Round 2: You grab an extra 10 buckets, or more if you have humidify and douse fires. drop the extra buckets afterwards. Next you fill up to 19 again and after putting it all in the cannons drop your equipment to make space for a full inv of buckets if you have humidify, otherwhise just grab 10 again and damage temporos. Round 3: Next you fill up the buckets and douse as many fires as you can. aftert this you drop your entire inventory and fill up on fish. Normaly you dont have time to put a full inventory in the cannon and kill temporos in time but if you split the fish between the cannons you will knock him out just before his storm intensity wipes you, effectively giving you a 4th try. End: Kill the temporos and grab your buckets and equipment from the boxes in the arena to reset for the next fight. I have been doing this for a while now and I get between 10 - 12 points for +-11 min depending on the amount of fires and repairs I can do. If your fishing level is too low for a dragon harpoon you can use an imcando hammer to safe space and you might want to be carefull with how long you are dousing fires, while you dont need a full inv of cooked fish for the last deposit, you dont want to risk not having enough fish and losing at the last second. I did not have humidify when writing this so take the parts where I recomand using it with a side of salt. it should work but I couldnt test it yet. EDIT: after trying with humidify waht i said works well. You can even go for a second full inv of dowsing fires in round 3 be careful though, I had to take a few less fish to make it in time because of this, so maybe do 1.5 inventories to be safe. Unless you got some fish at the green spot or just good fishing RNG. Overall this gave me nearly 11k points giving me 14 permits. You could get more if you minmax your fires. leaving some in the second round allows you to douse more in total for example.

@@thehowlingjoker There is a Cormorant Glove used for Aerial Fishing, but it is technically a weapon, not a glove, and can only be used on Molch Island. It’s also not a part of the Anglers Set and confers no bonus to fishing or hunting EXP that I am aware of.

Not sure if it has anything to do with fishing level (I'm 65 at the time of writing) but I had to do 17 - 19 cooked fish for the maximum points method. Doing 20 would push it straight down again. 1. Catch and Cook 8 -> Double catch spot spawned 2. 17 Cooked Fish 3. 19 Cooked Fish 4. Spirit Pool 5. 19 Cooked Fish 6. Spirit Pool 7. 19 Cooked Fish 8. Spirit Pool (kill) ~7500 points in 9:00-9:30 minutes

I've been having a bit of issues with the 17->20 cooked strat. When I do this tempoross goes to 4% on first and stalls which is right, but when doing 20 after the stall before storm reaches 100% if I'm able to, 20 pushes it right into a second downed state and not a second stall. Was there an update or something?

Awesome guide, thanks mate! Only tip I'm missing is that any extra fish fired in the short period between him getting hit by the final fish that puts him to phase 2 and the spirit pool spawning, will be "wasted" and will give exp but not count towards reducing his Energy the next round. Meaning if you don't use the right amount of fish you will be short the next round.
