Revisiting. Salute this sailing legend. Ocean Globe Race now in its 5th day. Which is a celebration of 1973 Whitbread. Great book to read is One Watch at a Time. About Drum! What an adventure.

Some time ago YT gave me one of Skips videos from the Antarctic. It was something about facing storms and I remember that he made a very positive impression on me. You have thousands of videos about sailing on YT and sometimes I just skip (funny) them cause they are about nothing if you know what I mean, but his - I didn't even know who he was back than, but I could tell from the first minutes that this video will be interesting. And it was, and it was honest, natural. Yep... Great guy, great interview.

Great interview! I would like a follow up interview that is more about the sailing down there, what are the boat characteristics and preparations needed. How do you anchor, sail, what time of the year, weather, winds, storms, etcetera. What are the activities down there, and what else.
