I just had another thought about the creature growing in Ballora's room that might actually be the toaster: I think it only freaks out around her because she literally has the smell of death on her. Hear me out. I think the toaster is the demon of death, which literally grows bigger and more powerful, until he reaches his true form, and destroys everything and everyone around him, from being around someone or something that has a huge scent of death on it or them. Ballora uses her natural body odor without showering ever, because she thinks it lures men into her. She then captures them, and probably kills them if they refuse to be with her. I think that's causing her to have the needed scent levels of deatj, and it causes the demon of death to keep growing. It also seems like it already started making people crazy, like he intends to do. This could actually explain the toaster and the creature.
